Eva POV I was dripping blood plus stinking. I had to go back home and Damon's text had made it clear that he is waiting for me at the dining hall. I removed the rope of the ship from the shore and watched the burning boat moving peacefully in the sea. It was a full moon today and the tides would work in a better way. The ship will definitely reach the other end by morning, except the continent is still unknown. I again got into the water to remove the blood stains off me and then took my car.

A grin curved onto my lips on the realization that I'm about to be the strongest being on Dexo Fernia – and soon be crowned as their queen. Holding my double-bladed swallow on my left hand, I walked through the only barrier keeping me locked outside the coliseum. Emotionless I waited for it to be removed out of my sight and the cheers grew louder every second. And as the wood barrier was slowly removed, those cheers just grew even louder. "VERONICA! GO VERONICA! GO VERONICA!!" I held my head high when I was called. "Let's give it up... to the Herald of Dexo Fernia, the shadow assassin! The daughter of Hikaris himself… VERONICA!"

Jenny hesitantly jumped in the water after Joel fixed her equipment, and Aries was beside her instantly, while Sarah was beside Attorney Adrian. Joel checked my mask and snorkel before he assisted Xander. When he gave us an okay sigh, Xander held my hand, and we both jumped in the water. Logan understood what Kael was hesitant about. "Leave us" he commanded loudly. Within seconds the area around the packhouse is deserted. "Speak" Logan commanded Kael. Kael inclined his head with respect before speaking. "As you must have already known, Hera is a white Lycan and so is her mother" Kael began to explain. As his head is inclined, he missed the shocked expression of Hera and a frown from Logan. Logan already suspected that Hera's scent is unique. So now he understood why.

“Is something the matter, Hera?” Hera slowly turned her head toward Perry, and she had to blink quite a lot of times to not be mesmerized by the glow in her irises. Her left one being milky-white was stained by a murky shadow that was shaped into pea-size flame, dancing in the moonlight; the right, meanwhile, had its purple splashed with a crimson glint, circling and outlining its shape, never-ending.

Her hunting gear was packed neatly by the door, bow and quiver ready to be slung over her shoulder. Hermes groaned dramatically, but was already pulling on his tunic. "Five minutes? You could have at least let me finish my dream – I was just about to teach the unicorns to deliver messages faster than I can!" Hera emerged from her room across the hall, guiding a still-sleepy Eirene by the hand. The young girl's hair was slightly tousled from sleep, and she was rubbing her eyes with one small fist while clutching the cloth pouch holding her egg in the other.
