The History Book Club Novels & Stories

“Wait, don’t answer that. I don’t want to have to go through all of this when I should be trying on tuxes.” I just shake my head, laughing as I arrange the books on the shelves so we could have a better look at their titles. “Well don’t have to go through them all just today. It would be nice just to get started.” August doesn’t say anything again, but I know what his state of mind is when he starts to hum while poring through the titles. “All of these are mostly about history. I guess we’re looking for a book that would hopefully explain the Houses in Terra Lycaon?”

I must do my objective here first. at last, now here in the History section. unlike the books from other shelves who has the same way of oldness in them, the books in the History section has different stages of being old. some are really worn out and some where just fairly new. grabbing a random book, I skimmed through the pages, wanting to know what era or year this was written, or what year did the content of the book happened. but the book only talked about the happenings of the coronation of the King Youseff Troy Von Travensky and Queen Violetta Suzette Perues. grabbing another book, i skimmed again but it was not the one i was looking for, ‘Maybe i should go for the newer ones.’

She pulled the books labeled History of Betas and Births & Deaths: Volume 3 from the shelf, cradling them carefully before sitting at the long table. The covers creaked as she opened them.
