They still had twenty hobgoblins, twelve brutes, five catapults, three magicians and a goblin lord to defend against. Listening to the numbers, even everyone tensed up. The number of hobgoblins reduced the most. However, it barely changed the result of this battle. The goblin army was still at full strength, with many powerful troops to mobilise. Zen was right. They could not afford to lose focus. Magicians could cast illusions, and nobody wanted to be caught off guard.

They all spilled out on to a large lawn where right in front of them, there stood a view, straight out of a Thomas Kinkade painting with a large mansion; "Welcome to Hale Academy!" xXxXx (End of Chapter One Word Count: 1972 Total Word Count: 7637)

Title: "Beyond the Woods: A Tale of Unexpected Love" Word count: 2,098 Once upon a time, in a world where fairy tales mingled with reality, there lived a young woman named Little Headhood. She was known for her vibrant red cloak, which she wore as she ventured through the enchanted woods, delivering treats to her grandmother.

Almost. Then, a scream ripped through the idyllic scene. A high, keening wail that sliced through the quiet like shattered glass. I slowly abandoned The Hobbit. From the safety of the porch door, I cautiously looked past my yard. My parents' house was nestled on the corner of two quiet residential streets, usually peaceful, so the ear-piercing cry rang like a bell of despair.

They may be punctuation errors and other minor grammar errors in the book but be assured that the author is working hard to correct them (please note in the comments section if you find any, to help the author correct it immediately). The number of coins used to unlock locked chapters is not constant, this is because the number of words each chapter contains vary as well. The number of words a chapter has depends on the plots and scenes that are needed in the chapter. Elion pulled a book from the shelf. "Here," Elion said. "Read this." Cale looked at the cover. The Hobbit. "Fantasy," Cale said. "Illogical." "It's a journey," Elion said. "Read the first page." Cale opened the book. He read. "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit," Cale read aloud, his voice low. "Keep going." "Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell..."

she explains, like a real-life chef, grabbing her own sub and taking a normal-person bite, “I knew you’d like it.” “I do. Thanks for making it for me,” I add after swallowing, then I grab one of the beers I bought to make sure I won’t choke. "Okay, so do you want to watch..." "Lord of the Rings," I respond immediately because there’s no other option, "The first one. Then we'll watch the second and make a date to watch the rest of them.” "How many movies are there?" "There's three... then there's three Hobbit movies. We have to watch it in order though, as they were released. That's my favorite way."

So baring with me and sticking it out, means more to me than you could possibly imagine. Second, I want to say this is not the end. This is an intermission. A break or hiatus if you want to call it. With updates being so scarce, I’m sure you’re thinking that I should have done this earlier. And maybe I should have. I wanted to push and get to a point though where I felt okay and not like I was going to regret stepping away for a moment. So far, this story has 125 chapters. That is my second longest (behind Shift) and we currently have 252,800 words. That is nuts! That’s more than Twilight and New Moon combined! Hahaha!

I wish I could respond to the comments here on GoodNovel, but that is not a feature that is easily accessible for authors on the desktop. This chapter is a little over 1500 words on my end so I believe it will become 2 when it updates. As I get closer tothe end of the book, I am going back to clarify things for continuity. If you catch something...And I know you will, this story is over 550k words when it was originally supposed to be like 80k TOTAL LOL. Please let me know on my Face. Book page under my author name. I get and check those messages, and respond, more regularly.
