“Young lady, maybe young master Vincent feels lonely in this unfamiliar house after all he just lost his family.” “I know and I hope by befriending him he won’t feel lonely in this house.” wiping her sweats off Quinlynn frustratedly said. “But Mary, he keeps avoiding me! I don’t know what to do!” “Wait a minute, Young lady. I have a perfect solution for your problem.” “Where are you goin- …and off she goes”. Quinlynn helplessly sighed, watching her personal maid eagerly leaving. “So…this is your solution?” Quinlynn looked at the book placed in front of her. The book was covered in a dark green book cover. Looking at this book, Quinlynn somewhat felt an ominous aura coming from it.

He pushed open the door and jump on me on the bed gigling. "Morning, Maa," he said cheerfully. "Good morning, sweetheart," I replied, hugging him close. "Did you sleep well?" He nodded, his eyes shining with happiness. “Did you miss me in your new room?” “No,” August answered shaking his head. Well that’s not very nice. "Yes, Aunt Cook made us pancakes." I smiled. Even I did not know the name of the cook or any of the workers in this place. I made a mental note to learn their names as soon as I could. "That sounds nice. Did you save any for me?"

I didn't want to remember that I was alone! After a few hours of crying, I began to feel that my tears were drying up. I looked at the clock and it was almost midnight, so I got out of bed and picked up the box that I had dropped on the floor as soon as I went upstairs, where the uniform was kept. It was like a horror movie to open that box, it contained the prelude to a great nightmare, I took a deep breath as I looked at the garment, it was very reminiscent of the uniform of one of the maids at my old mansion. "I want my house," I mumbled sadly, it was so frustrating and so unreal to be living through all this, even though it was almost two months since I moved in, it was still all a bit o

A strange flutter started low in her belly, spreading outward like ripples in water. ''What the hell was this?'' She'd never felt anything like this. Had never experienced attraction this immediate, this overwhelming, this visceral. "Mr. Blackwood," Elizabeth said smoothly, though Aria detected a hint of surprise. "I wasn't expecting you until later. This is Sarah Mitchell, our new housekeeper. She'll be starting tomorrow." "Will she?" It wasn't a question. Damien's gaze hadn't left Aria's face, and she found herself unable to look away. Couldn't have looked away if her life depended on it.

" I closed the book as I found myself back to the room having this confused expression in my face, see what curiosity had made me do, I never knew that someone was beside the door looking at my every expressions. I was the kind that get easily distracted but once I immersed myself into a particular thing, one could steal from me and I will not be able to explain how it's happened. The book was not one that I needed to hide so I placed it ontop of my shelf, I was startled by the presence of my personal maid as she had been bowing, only the moon goddess knows how many hours she had been in the state. I went towards her and lifted her head up "Is anything the problem?" I asked her

"At least no one will be sending me errands like a maid." "Like a maid?" Rothchild stared back at her again. "As if you are not one. They are not treating you like a maid, you were actually a maid, and guess what? You will still be a maid in my new house. The only difference is that you will have one master, and that one master is me."

Izora felt the eyes of the mansion itself watching her as they passed golden mirrors and huge oil pictures of men in dark suits with eyes like Kaiser's. Their arrival found them in a peaceful study room with soft, navy-blue walls and books. One large window let sunlight flood the centre polished wood table. The air smells vaguely of new flowers, aged paper, and cologne she had started to link with power. The maid moved for her to sit. Izora watched. Before her was a neatly bound leather book. The cover page is Household Protocols. "You are expected to completely abide by these guidelines," the maid remarked quietly. “Otherwise, there are consequences.”

I pulled out a book and closed the suitcase before turning toward the maids who were doing their job in the bedroom “there is food in the kitchen if you are hungry. Feel free to dig in” I walked out of the room before any of them could say a word to answer what I just said, the last thing I wanted or needed was to be judged by the maids of the house. I entered the living room where two other maids were cleaning up, watching as the two of them stared at me for a second, waiting for an order from me. However, I had nothing to tell them, therefore, I just simply nodded before taking a seat, allowing them to get done with their business. It explained how the Alpha managed to have his house clean
