I had only seen Mildred and Garren shift, so this was new. Hunter wasn’t nearly as big as Garren, but he was bigger than Mildred. His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.

Ronan asked. The man flinched, just slightly, but it was enough. I saw it in his eyes—the moment he knew we’d caught on. I bent down, grabbing his hand and turning it to the side, exposing the faint mark etched into his skin. My growl rumbled in my throat. "He's a hunter." "Fuck," he hissed, the rope snapping as his claws swiped through the air where I’d just been. He bolted, but he wasn’t fast enough.

He said. I just sat there completely in shock. Then I grabbed my champagne and chugged the class before setting it back on the table. Damien just smiled at me, trying to hide his laughter. “I don’t see how any of this is funny… Do you realize who I am?” I hissed. “Snow, trust me, I know everything there is to know about you.” He said. “No, I don’t think you understand… I am a Hunter. A VAMPIRE HUNTER… You are a Vampire. I’m supposed to kill you. Why would the gods make me your gifted mate? It just doesn’t make sense.” I said.

Claire interrupted, “What exactly is a Hunter?” He took a deep breath, steadying himself. “A hunter is a type of human who was or is a Mythical bounty hunter. They have enhanced skills; fighting abilities, enhanced senses. I think one or both of your parents were Hunters. Especially after seeing you in action. Haven’t you ever wondered how you could fight and keep up with the wolves and vampires in your coven and pack? Love, you ARE A HUNTER.”

Lukas was done when two people spoke “ I don't agree with her being our Luna” they said in unison “ What your reason” I can see he is trying to control his anger “She’s human.” They spoke in unison and people began t o murmur. “She’s a hunter.” “She’s weak.”

Ramsy boasted. Delta Ramsy mustered little heed to Higgins' pitiful state as the spat to the soon to-be corpse in his wake. Hunters were members of the resistance, who were mostly humans that had their only goal to be liberating their people and domineering the greater mass of carnivorous beast that desired to usurp any attempts they made to establish a system like theirs or breed enough to try. A surge of adrenaline coursed through me as I projected a desperate mental blast: "HUNTERS!" I plummeted from my perch, a silent avenger, as the rifle's crack split the air, a leaden missile finding its mark on our valiant warrior wolf. With the finality of death whispering through the trees, the wolf crumpled silently to the forest floor.
