The others let out a curse while Drabek barked out a laugh. "You crazy bastard." Drabek continued. Suddenly the lights to the palace flicked on. I let out a hiss as my eyes were forced to adjust. I instantly spotted Balthazar standing at the end of the hall, his hands in his pocket like he hadn't had a single care in the world. I let my illusion drop, slightly in shock but also somewhat impressed with the fact that I could make an illusion so powerful that it hid me and the others from Balthazar. I shouted as I walked around the now bright less complex but still kind of big cave. " You really went all out with the illusions. This place looks so different and so spacious. Tip from one illusionist to another, don't make major changes. Makes it seem less realistic, eats up a crazy unholy load of mana, and just screams out " Hey! I'm fake!" You know? And any illusion that screams that out is just a waste of mana. You get me? " I asked as I turn to face him. " Oh.... right, you're unconscious. Wonder where everyone is..... One attacker followed the fake. Another hesitated. The third turned toward her. Mira summoned a field of fog, thick and blinding. She whispered, “Let them see what I want them to see.”

Just stood there, watching. Ian raised his hand, signaling caution. Madison whispered, “It’s bait. Don’t break formation.” But the silhouette didn’t move. Didn’t fade. Just waited. I threw her phone toward her and said coldly, "See for yourself!" She picked up the phone and her face turned deathly pale when she saw the messages being displayed on the screen. She looked back at me, trying to come up with an explanation, but she had no idea what to say. I gritted my teeth and asked, "What do you have to say for yourself?" Cassandra bit down on her lips and said, "Listen to me, Sebastian. This isn't real! It's all just a joke!" I laughed out loud from anger. "Just a joke, you say? Do you know how much these so-called jokes of yours have hurt Joan?"
