“The baby is speaking inside my head.” The words left my mouth before I could stop them. For a moment, no one moved. Damon stared at me as if he had not heard correctly. Lucian blinked once. Cassian did not react at all. But I felt it again. The small voice. Soft. Calm. Clear. Not outside. Inside. I pressed my hand against my temple. “It’s happening again.” Damon stepped closer immediately. “What is?” “The voice.”
