Novel & Cerita The Jackal Red Rising

Kokabiel laughing the whole time, as if he were enjoying this, the sick fuck. A flash of brown at the fallen angel's hip had me focusing my gaze there. At first glance it looked like a pelt until I realized that color was very familiar to me. As I looked closer while he moved, I realized he had many at his hips, like trophies. Then I almost gagged as recognition dawned on me, those were scalps; the scalps of his victims. Jasons had been the brown one I had first seen, but amongst them I saw hair of every color and my stomach churned. Willing my leaden feet to move I took a step toward Cain, his back to me, shoulders heaving with his exertion; the blood from his wounds still wet on his shirt.

The day of the ceremony arrived and Liam was stressed. With getting the supply back on track, the preparations for the ceremony, and the time of the Blood moon curse rapidly approaching, Liam was having a hard time keeping control of his inner beast. It simply wanted to rip, tear and demolish all the problems before it. Liam had to explain that not all problems could be solved with violence. It didn’t care. Calming the beast once more, he stepped out onto the prepared stage. Below him stood his pack. They were separated into sections. Most of the pack were set a ways back. The pubescent kids and their guardians in an enclosed area set aside.

The Ascended merely staggered, shook their heads, and kept charging, firing their assault rifles wildly at the base. "They don't feel pain!" Jack swore. He stood on the outer wall in his heavy Mark V Exoskeleton, winding up the rotary cannon. BRRRRRRRT. A storm of depleted uranium shells tore through the red robes, turning the snow into a horrific slurry of crimson and glowing blue.

That wasn’t making any sense. As the sun began rising and shining through the closed window curtains, the TV was randomly turned on. Jack was displayed on the screen; he stood in front of a podium, and he looked to be in the center of King City. The sight of him turned my stomach. He had a smug smile on his face like he had already won. But he had no idea we were coming back for him with a stronger force than before.

and I'm pleased Jack caught me because of it. "You're not my pack," Arthur declares. "I was born here," Jack responds. "I'm a dark moon alpha as much as any man here." "And what are you going to do with her?" Lucas asks Jack pulls me up by reaching down and his eyes narrow. As he looked about at the other men—all of whom were nude, dripping with perspiration, and ready for even the tiniest opportunity to sink their teeth into both of us—he wrapped an arm around me while sticking out his other hand's claws.

Redward, meanwhile, very quickly and deftly wielded a dagger, chopping one by one the Hunters, until they had time to really come to their senses. Jack, realizing that Red was still on their side, ordered with one menacing growl: - To battle! All the Wolves, including Jera, who managed to transform into the Beast, moved in unison against the enemy, baring their mouths with razor-sharp fangs. Everyone's eyes burned with anticipation of the fight. - And you, - Jack turned to Black, - stand still and don't fight. Your target is Cyrus. Seeing that John did not like this order - otherwise he could not accept Jack's order - and he intended to challenge it, Willow added:

Cages howled—then didn’t anymore. Jack waved the survivors, the bleeding, the breathing, into the smoke, into the shadow, into the night that had the decency not to ask questions. They didn’t run. Ghosts don’t run. They vanish. Behind them, the lab burned. A hellish pyre. A red flower opening in the desert, petals made of everything they couldn’t save. On the ridge beyond the compound, Jack turned once. The wind brought ash and the faint taste of chemical sweetness. He thought of the gouges in the wall. He thought of black eyes in a not-face. He thought of how some enemies don’t come with a flag.

“I found dozens and dozens of girls, locked in cages. The bars were rusted, they’ve been there for some time, just living outside like animals. Then there’s Marcel.” Rico pipes up, “Who the hell is Marcel?” “A massive wolf. I’ve never seen anything like it, I’ve never battled with one so strong,” My fists tremble beside me and I shove my hands in my pockets. “He is in charge of all of this.” Monica exhales and says, “What’s his motive?” Harrison says, “We won’t know unless we look further into it, like Riven has been saying.” Niles says, “I don’t think we should rush to put Riven in charge of anything at this point. He nearly got himself killed, and worse, he nearly got Kate killed.”

Jack called, tilting his head, “What are y-- “Don’t come any closer!” Denise shuffled back, her claws elongating at her finger tips and her eyes lighting up a bright red. “H-How did you find me? How many more of you?!” Her gaze momentarily swerved past him, instinctively searching for the person she dreaded seeing; Kain. Even though her ears didn’t pick up on anyone else close by, she couldn’t help but be anxious. Did he send Jack to kill her? “Y-You’re the red-eyed wolf?” Jack’s eyes bulged, his lips slipping ajar as a shaky breath left them.

Jack was the anesthetic. Varkas had realized that the ninety percent were starting to rebel against the Refinery. They were getting too wild, too desperate. So, Varkas had brought the Sovereign back to the continent. He dressed Jack in white silk, crowned him in flowers, and let his beautiful, submissive magic wash over the city. Jack thought he was bringing peace to a utopia. In reality, he was greasing the wheels of a genocide, keeping the victims entirely docile as they were marched into the dark.
