The Last Chapter Series Novels & Stories

Don began the last chapter in November of the tenth year. Not the Mexico City piece — that was the fifth piece, the penultimate essay in the book, which he had been writing since the return from Mexico City in late October. The last chapter was something different: the chapter that Don had named in January as the chapter he knew the content of and did not yet have the form for. The chapter that was not an essay about a place but the explicit statement of what the whole book had been building toward.

The knowledge is in the space between them, in the air, in the accumulated weight of all the mornings that have come before. --- This is not the end of anything. The last chapter of the story is not an ending—it's the continuation, the ongoing present tense, the life moving forward into the next morning and the next Tuesday and the next Sunday sofrito and the next thing that happens to them and that they build from. The last chapter is the chapter that acknowledges that there is no last chapter, that the story goes on, that the only ending is the one they stop telling. This is Tuesday.

After Aini arrived at the campus, he went straight to the library. Actually, he was confused about where he was going to the library. Perhaps, he felt that what he had done was right, but there were still doubts because he was not a child who used to argue. It's just that he thinks that it's time for him to act on all his family's misdeeds towards him. But, is it still appropriate for them to be called family after what they did to her? The answer is, no!

Sept 26, 2022 Hello, lovelies! I only have 4-6 chapters left before we close this book and this series. And my emotions were already all over the place. I am a very emotional person, (as you can tell from my stories and my characters), so I am having a hard time writing them because I want to give justice to the series ending. If I don't update tomorrow, please be assured I will still finish the book before Friday. I don't want to rush into writing it because this series (these lovely characters) has been part of my life for a whole year, and they deserve a good exit.

hi everyone, thank you so much for sticking with me, even despite my absence. I assure you, that wasn't intentional. I've been dealing with some personal stuff. To be honest, I'm not proud of this either, especially since I planned on bringing this book to a close before the end of 2025. There are so few chapters left to write, but sometimes, life just hits hard, you know? But anyway, the last few chapters will be uploaded before the end of the week. I'm working overtime to make sure of that.
