But steadily it grows as we all watch, first the size of a chestnut, and then an apple, and then a full orb of gorgeous, glowing, steady light. “Your prize,” Death says, gesturing slowly towards the magnificent ball which I can feel radiates with power. A little squeak climbs from my throat as I stare at it, and then over at Anton, remembering my promise – But he clenches his jaw, looking down at me, reminding me with his gaze that we don’t need it. Not anymore. I blink in surprise, completely shocked that I let that slip my mind – But then I whip my head back to Beatrice as she reaches for the wish, takes it in her hands. Because if it’s not going to be used to bring Anton back to life – th

I had sobs choking me on my words as I requested him to listen to me. “Just consider it as my last wish, and I know my Aramis would never drop my last wish,” bringing his hand closer to my cheek, I cried on his skin. “Please promise me,” I was shaking miserably after throwing up. “You should take your medicines,” Layla whispered, standing beside us. “No! I won’t until my Aramis promises me this one last wish,” I raised my face and watched him tear up even more. “You are asking for my heart,” he whispered, cupping my face in his hands.

My feet were trying to kick at him, but suddenly they were hanging limp instead, not listening to my brain. In my last moments of consciousness, I made one last wish. We had ten minutes. We used nine of them.

"My second wish was for them to free all the souls who sacrifice their life making the wish. They will all be reincarnated to correct their wrongdoings and to amend their past mistake. "It took me so long to convince them to send me back. I told them that I had unfinished business here on earth." She grinned as if he has something mischievous in mind. "Unfinished business?" My brows furrow and a bit confused. "You owe me my third and final wish," she said smiling at me. "But I no longer have my powers," I said and release an audible si
