Andre and I turned to look at each other and I took a deep breath. “I, Andre, Prince of the Lycan kingdom, accept you, Phillipa, Princess of the Lycan Kingdom, as my mate.” Andre beamed, and my brother looked at me. A huge knot formed in my throat and I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I would have a voice if I spoke up with that huge knot!!

he waved off my pleas like they meant nothing and I huffed as he rose to his feet With a gulp, I grabbed onto his leg and held him so dear to my chest. "Please, Lycan King! Have mercy on me." "Wait what?" He sounded shocked and I looked up at him teary eyed. "Y-You are the Lycan King of this City, right? Please let me go, I swear to never come here again. Also... If you could let me go with my mate-" "Your mate?" He asked again, sounding confused. "Who is your mate?"

I despised her for the pain she inflicted upon me, and yet, I was powerless to defend myself against her wrath. As I allowed myself to succumb to the overwhelming emotions, my thoughts drifted to Kavan, my true mate. Oh, how I yearned for him, for his embrace, and for the love we could share if not for the cruel fate that had placed me in the clutches of Murad. Kavan's presence had been a beacon of hope and light in my life, a love I yearned to embrace openly. But destiny had other plans, chaining me to Murad, the possessive Lycan King who cared more for power than the heart of the one he owned.

A young girl who looks my age tells her friend as Aurora and I help them pick some dresses from the hangers. My ears prick on instinct as soon as they mention the enthronment of the next lycan king. Donovan. How close is his birthday? "My grandmother told me the same." The other girl replies in all smiles as she measures a dress with her body, standing in front of the full frame mirror. "I heard he rejected his mate. You know what that means for us?" I lift my brow a little at her words. Rejected his mate? Where did she ever hear that absurd lie from?

It feels stupid because the guy didn't even like me and he has been nothing but I jerk to me, except when he kissed me. "Josie! Enough, you need to take a shower and change from those depressing clothes now!" Autumn said sternly. I buried my face between the pillows. "Yes. We are going shopping to cheer you up, and afterward, I'll tell the news I have from the border," Summer bargained, and I sat up, grabbing her little shirt. "Border? What happened? You forget who you’re speaking to. I am Princess Ava Killian of the House of the Lycans, the mother of the Lycans, the first of their existence in 200 years!" she yelled. And paused with choking tears as her voice became lower. "I am their m

She had certainly made everyone aware that she was mated to my brother and I. “Look at her, and look at me, Jaxon. I am a Lycan, she is a piece of shit.” “What did you call me?” I watch Ava’s eyes darken, a sign that she was close to being able to shift. The wolfsbane was wearing off. “You heard me, wolf. Leave us alone, take your shitty little arse back to wherever it is you have come from.” Carla smiles at Ava, “Aw have I made the little wolfie angry.”
