The Lycan King's Rejected Queen Novels & Stories

"Who?" "My fated mate," she answered. "That's great then. Who was he?" "He's not a good guy. He's that insane king," "There are many mad kings out there. Which one in particular are you referring to?" the king asked with furrowed eyebrows. "Kyle Norman, the Lycan King," Xylia responded with a tinge of sadness in her voice, "I rejected him. But it failed because he didn't accept the rejection and he's stronger than me. So, that's why I suffered a backlash,"

With the witch and her offsprings gone, there was nothing stopping Josef from becoming the next heir, and then Josef's mother finally got the attention of the king for herself. I wasn't really the type that believed in every story I read, or was told. But for reason I felt like this was the root of all my problems. Without wasting a second, I quickly began scrolling through the images of the Lycan Queens, but no matter how much I searched I couldn't find what I was searching for. Aaron Blackwood probably had all records of her first wife destroyed after her death.

Then I looked at her with deadly coldness before speaking in a serious voice that everyone heard clearly "I, Alexander Morganth, King of the Lycans..." I paused for a few short seconds before continuing "I reject you as my mate, Maria."

He just stared at her, jaw tight, eyes burning with disbelief. My heart beat rapidly and head spun. This felt like Leo and Quinn’s story again. Tears welled up in my eyes as I braced myself for another rejection. I quietly took back my pups from the Lycan King and soothed the half-asleep pups to sleep over my shoulder. However, that seemed to break the spell of the dazed king. He looked like I had stolen his birthright. He snagged back the cubs from me and cuddled them close to his chest. Their touch seemed to calm him down.

“No woman in their right mind would love someone like him.” Even if King Lucius would shower me with all his gold, he could not buy my love. I was not like my parents. “They claimed that they loved the Lycan King, My Queen,” Honora explained. She failed to mention the women who also rejected the Lycan King. Well, that was according to Mom’s source whom she heavily trusted. She added that women usually rejected him. But something happened that changed everything. That he was able to have those women in his life.

My heart was racing, the pump of blood pounding in my ears, as I fought to maintain my gentle mask that threatened to crumble. Idris Raed couldn’t become the Lycan King. I worked so hard, endured the nauseating touch of this bastard for so long…all to become the First Lycan Queen! Fuck! I even rejected my fated mate and acted as if he didn’t exist, when every single cell of my body screamed to be near him! For what? Definitely not to be the babysitter of this Clan and the showpiece of this bastard!

I have that skill, remember? “The Lycan King is the most Superior. He is over at the Lycan Realm and will only come here if the Oust Resistance is a failure. Then he will kill the Alpha Queen himself. So, for the Queen's sake, let's hope we can successfully dethron and kill her, else she'll be facing something much dire-- the Lycan King himself.” Sir. Skippar added and I gulped hard. He then turned to me with a weird look on his face. “You should know this.” He said.

I’m cut off. “The Lycan king is only using you for his Mistress. He has a mate also. You mean nothing to him. So get this idea of a savior out of your head. You are nothing but the concubine to Alpha Leopold. It is time you came back and made this all right.” I hold my head in sorrow. What does he mean that the Lycan king has a mate? This can’t be happening again. I refuse to be used again. “Her name is Katarina. She is the next queen. It will never be you. So come back and fix this.” He looks me in the eyes. Pleading for the first time ever. “Please Kemira. It’s so bad there now. We need you.”

He retorted once again, but I stood transfixed to a spot with my mouth hung wide agape. “Leave? That's all you intend to say? How shameless can you really be? You irritate me down to the core erebus.” I retorted, clenching my fists. I could feel my blood boiling at an insane range; it was killing me way too much to listen to whatever crappy words the bastard had said, but I had not expected him to yell at me for any reason. “Yes. Leave. Stop acting like we are lovers. I married you only because I need an excuse; you don't get to pass out orders for me, and it seems you have forgotten your place in this pack. I am the Lycan King , and you tried to steal from me!”

No one said a word or rose until we had gotten to the front. The words of the councilman droned out in my ears as Luca helped me get on my knees, the softness of the pillow cushioning my bones. The crowd took their seats; a pin-drop silence enveloped the room. “…the union between Moonfang and the Lycan Kingdom. An unbroken alliance that we all sit here today to witness. Today, you become not just the wife of the king; you become the queen of the Lycan kingdom. It is the honor bestowed upon me today to crown you, formerly Elara Moonstone, now Elara Blackthorn, Queen of the Lycan Kingdom.” He announced as the crowd rose just for him to put the crown on my head.
