The Lycan Queen By Foxtail Novels & Stories

A promise that their King and Queen stood unchallenged. Veldrin cradled my face in his hands, pressing his forehead to mine, our eyes locked. His warm breath brushed against my skin as his voice was low and confident. "Forever, my mate." I smiled through the tears I didn't even notice had fallen. "Forever." "...and under the watchful gaze of the Moon Goddess, the Lycan King and his Queen united as one." Asher Blackwater's commanding voice echoes through the forest.

“It is my honor to formally announce that I have found my fated mate.” A collective hush fell over the crowd. He turned toward me. “This is Tara, daughter of Beta William and Natasha of the Blue Moon Pack. She is my equal. My Luna. My Queen. “ I felt the ripple of shock through the gathered werewolves like a wave of warm thunder. Then, cheers. Applause. A few whistles. I smiled and waved, relieved that no one shouted, “Head for the car!” But not everyone looked thrilled. Enter Cindy. She strutted forward in a too-tight dress, arms crossed, eyes radiating toxic energy. “Seriously?” she sneered. “Her? The Lycan King’s mate? That has to be a mistake.”

“The late Lycan is dead. We’re closer now than we’ve ever been. We must remain focused on our goal.” “We are.” The woman spoke again. “First public discrediting then we’ll weaken him and finally, he can go join his father in hell.” Hunt. I almost gasped aloud as my knees lost strength. These people were planning to kill Hunter. “And the Queen won’t be a problem?” The first voice asked again. “What trouble can a spoiled princess bring?” The woman chuckled. “Not to worry. If she and the Lycan seem to grow closer… “ Her voice broke. And for a minute, my heart jolted as I strained my ears to hear the rest of their plan.

Silver energy coated her attacks, making every strike devastating. Enemy after enemy fell before her. She moved through the battlefield like moonlight itself. Beautiful. Deadly. Unstoppable. The enemy began to break. Fear spread through their ranks. Whispers carried across the battlefield. "The True Queen." "The Moon Goddess's heir." "The Lycan King." For the first time, Corey's soldiers understood exactly who they were fighting. And the battle had only just begun. Aurora's POV

I touched my neck—the scent-masker was hot, vibrating against my skin. I was winning. I was breaking him. But as I looked at my children sleeping peacefully, I realized the terrifying truth: Silas wasn't just losing his company. He was losing his life. And the only thing that could save the Lycan King was the very woman he had cast out to die. I sat on the edge of the bed, my hands shaking. I had come for revenge, but I hadn't realized that watching him die would feel like dying all over again.

Josie POV Luna Queen Victoria Devanci Osborn. Her name was carved into the stone above the entrance. I traced the words with my eyes, feeling the weight of them. A queen loved by thousands. A woman I had never met. A woman everyone expected me to follow, Ronan's mother, the one he lost to humans. I was at the grand reopening ceremony of the I'll White Moon Haven Warriors Center. The lycan king was away, and the pack matriarch couldn't make it, so I was sent in their stead.

"I can't wait to go to the mating ceremony. I want to see what kind of magnificent, high-born lady managed to capture the Lycan King's heart. I want to see the Queen!" Torren smirked, wrapping his arm around her waist, thoroughly enjoying her excitement. "Then pack your dresses, my love. In six days, we march to Volca-Crest." Neither of them realized that the "magnificent Queen" waiting for them on the golden throne was the very same girl they had left to rot in the dirt.

His hair has the most unique look I've ever seen—black, but with streaks that burn a deep red when light touches it. Lycans are special so they believe they are the only ones allowed to be their King and Queen. Anything else is a disgrace to the kingdom they believe in. They don't think normal wolves are strong enough to rule. It's an old ancient belief that hasn't been abolished and if you and Hunter never fix this, it might go on for another hundred years." Oh my god. This was so awful. Just then, the door was kicked down and both Carolina and I squealed in shock, but recovered when we saw that it was just Hunter.
