The Lycan Queen By Foxtail Novels & Stories

“No. I think I’m just getting there.” Her smile widens as she sits down next to me. “I’m sorry I haven’t met you sooner, but I’ve been away for a few weeks on business.” She reaches out her hand. “I’m Fiona. Lance’s mother.” My mouth nearly falls to the ground as I scurry out of my chair and bow to her. “I’m sorry, your majesty. I didn’t recognize you.” She darts out of her chair and gently pats my arms while pushing me back into my chair. “Don’t be sorry, but I don’t know if I should have a reaction for you not recognizing me. I am the Lycan Queen.”

She threw away her empty glass and crossed her arms over her chest as she stared at the lycan king from a distance. Aphrodite told the pairer, "If she wants to be queen of the Lycans, she'll have to get used to this." Fowol's frown got even worse when she heard what she said, but she didn't say anything else. When she turned around, she saw the Lycan bringing the she-wolf into the tent. She heard an arrow shoot out of a bow next to her, which made her turn around and see Eros shoot an arrow at Lucian. This made the frown on her face even worse.

they howled. "See, we told you, you could do it," they said, mind-linking me. "You will be a great queen." The howling took a long time before it went silent. The Lycan queen stood up. "That's my sons' mate and my daughter. I'm well pleased with her. She will become your queen and lead you as I do," she announced. "I, Mia Blake Jones, hereby declare Anne Hill as the queen of the Lycans." I was shocked. I looked at my mates' faces. They were shocked as well. I slowly looked at the Lycan king's face.

Lucian’s voice cut through the stillness. “Let this summit bear witness,” he said, his tone carrying across every corner of the hall. Aurelia felt it again his hand brushing hers, not gripping, not forcing. Choosing. Standing with her. The balance of power had shifted and everyone knew it. The silence breaks. The tension snaps and before anyone can challenge it Lucian steps forward. His voice echoes through the summit, cold and absolute: “Aurelia Nightbane…” A pause. The entire world holding its breath. “…will stand as Queen Candidate of the Lycan throne.”

“I can’t leave without telling him where I am going.” “Is there no way to contact him?” Anna looked around the cave with its magical torches and furnishings that, for the most part, I had conjured up. “No, I don’t suppose you have the internet down here?” “Inter-what?” I asked. Rachel and Anna’s jaw dropped open simultaneously. I laughed, “You can certainly see that you are sisters when you both look at me that way.” Anna snapped her mouth closed. “I am the queen of the Lycans.”

I smiled, cold and royal and nothing like the girl he rejected. “War begins at dawn,” I mouthed back. Because it does. For Elias. For my crown. For the five years I spent learning that ‘wolfless’ doesn’t mean ‘powerless.’ It means ‘Lycan.’ And the Lycan Queen has returned.

Xavier and Xayden were looking directly into my eyes with wolfish grins on their faces. “Oh really, baby? We are waiting for that day and believe us, we will snatch everything from you and will make you beg like a f*cking s*xtoy but will not forgive you. You shouldn’t challenge Alpha Princes like this but now, you have to bear the consequences of your words. Be ready to face them,” Xayden said and I nodded with a smirk. “I am not an ordinary girl anymore. I am A Lycan Queen and will show it to you with my power, not just words. I will kill both of you and free this world,” I answered and he nodded.

“What the fuck is your problem?” The old man’s expression shifted. He looked down for a moment before slowly lifting his eyes back to mine. “My Queen…” I folded my arms across my chest. “No. You don’t get to ‘my Queen’ me right now.” A few of the Fae lowered their eyes. Good. Because I wasn’t finished. “You keep saying I’m your Queen as though I don’t belong anywhere else.” I gestured toward the territory behind me. “This is the Lycan King. I am mated to him. I am the Lycan Queen.” I swept my hand across the grounds. “This is mine.” I pointed toward the men standing behind us. “These people are mine.” My eyes returned to the Fae. “I am their Queen.”

Once I get into the tree line, I quickly transform into Tyche’s white Lycan. Most Lycans are brown, or grey, Ty, however, is almost completely white, with the exception of the black full moon on her forehead and the two crescent moons on her chest, with the waxing over her heart and waning on the right side of her chest. My parents, being a normal Alpha and Luna Lycan, were beyond surprised, as Tyche’s colouring is the symbol of the Lycan Queen. Not just any Queen, no, of course not some rando Queen, I had to be the high Queen. As far as anyone knows there is no royalty in my family, so that should mean that there is no way I am the next Lycan Queen, and yet here is Ty. Unfortunately, that m

It has nothing to write home about. He looks so surprised and angry. The queen gently took my hand and led me to the front. She removes her crown and places it on my head. "From today, she shall be your queen. You must protect her from evil beings. Loved and sworn your loyalty to your queen," she declares openly.
