The Lycan Queen By Foxtail Novels & Stories

’ He tried to assert his Alpha power over me, the hate pouring from all his Pack was almost suffocating, but I was no longer the frightened child they had abused for years. ‘Do you really want to challenge a Lycan Queen, Alpha Reynolds?’ I sneered at my former Alpha, goading him into becoming reckless as I deliberately turned my back on him, knowing exactly what he would do, and he did not let me down. Feeling the air shift as he lunged, all I had to do was take a side step so he ended up sailing past me, falling in an undignified heap. He leapt up immediately, stupidly allowing his anger to consume him; baring his teeth and snapping at me, coming very close to my skin. I was far too quick f

The shadows boiled and evaporated wherever my light touched them, unable to withstand the absolute purity of the awakening. Fenrir stopped his mocking laughter. He took a hesitant step back, his massive shadow-wolf features contorting in sheer shock. His obsidian eyes widened as he stared at the blinding pillar of fire I had become. He recognized this light. He had not seen it for a thousand years. He realized, with a creeping dread that finally pierced his arrogance, that I had awakened the full, primordial power of the first Lycan Queen—the very power that had been designed to bring him to his knees.

“...Beasts and lycans haven't had a union for over two centuries, when the lycan queen discovered that her mate was the leader of the beasts…” My eyes widened as I heard her words. What the hell? This wasn't in the books in the library. “Wait a minute, what are you talking about?” I asked, shaking my head in denial. Adeline looked me in the eyes and began to speak. "Miss Eleftheria, things in the kingdom were always misrepresented in those lying books. The queen was a blue-blooded lycan who was forced to reject her first mate, a beast. The moon goddess gave her a second chance with a powerful blood lycan and king of the lycans."

The wound left by the stab had already healed, leaving behind only a small scar. “You want to mess with my mind? Play with me, huh?” She continued grumbling as she changed into more comfortable clothes. “Great! This lady will show you what it takes to play a real game. She will beat you so hard that you won’t be able to show your face in the entire Lycan Kingdom.”

she said, turning to us, “I believe that the queen is a special kind of Lycan.” “What do you mean?” Eros was quick to ask. “According to history, every true Lycan is blessed with a special gift from the moon goddess,” she explained. “And from what I witnessed that day, as well as my investigations, I have cause to believe that the queen is a siphon Lycan.” I blinked, confused. “What is that?” “A Lycan who has the ability to tap into various abilities and use them in their most powerful form.” “A siphon requires an object to wield such power,” Lucius stated, question in his voice.

Gasping, she pushed herself up, her limbs trembling. And that was when she saw her. A golden glow flickered in the distance, illuminating a figure standing still in the void. Tall. Cloaked in shadow and power. A woman - not just any woman. The First Lycan Queen. Lyra’s breath caught in her throat. The Queen’s face was an echo of her own, but sharper, older, colder. Her golden eyes burned like molten fire, unyielding and unshaken. Power radiated from her in waves.

She didn't wait for his compliance. Natalia turned her back on the iron gates and sprinted toward the steep valley trail. The transformation tore through her muscle fibers like needles of ice, her Lycan blood reaching a violent, boiling fever that melted the snow beneath her bare feet as she broke into a rhythmic, four-legged lurch. Her clothes shredded along the shoulders as her spine broadened, her human posture dissolving into the terrifying, elongated shape of the Lycan Queen. The mountain wind howled through her thick, soot-stained fur, carrying the heavy, oily scent of Varga’s treason ahead of her like a trail of fresh grease.

I see her eyes change as she says that, and I open my mouth to ask if she’s okay, but I stop mid-sentence when the door opens and everyone gets to their feet, hush falling over the room. My head snaps to the entrance as I do the same, and there she is, standing tall and regal, the first queen of Lycaon. I feel my heartbeat change as I stare in awe at the woman who became the first human queen to rule powerful Lycans. I watch as she moves through the crowd after telling everyone to sit, and I feel my chest swell in admiration.

She stumbled back, visions crashing into her mind—trees twisted into thrones, a woman with fire in her hair and fangs for teeth, a war fought under twin moons, blood-soaked snow… Kael caught her before she hit the ground. “Ayla!” “I—I saw her,” Ayla gasped, clutching his arm. “The queen. She wants me to—” The air cracked. A branch shattered above them as something massive dropped from the trees—black claws, white fur, snarling fangs. A Snowborn Lycan. Kael roared, slamming into it before it could reach Ayla, steel flashing. The two beasts tumbled into the snow, a mess of growls and blood.

I said to her hesitantly. “When I was a younger goddess, I decided to experiment with one of my wolves. I would only create one. She is special, and unlike ordinary wolves in every way. She is stronger, faster, bigger. She can hear better, see better, and smell better. She stands on two feet. She can even talk in her wolf form. Once you merge with this wolf, you will become what you were always meant to be. Harper, you are the first Lycan queen and your fated mate is the first Lycan King of all wolves. Your wolf will transfer power to your mate’s wolf, gifting him power that matches yours. A Lycan is an old breed of wolf that I have been saving. She along with her mate is meant to combat an
