Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

The whispers had followed me here too… Zane’s power is unprecedented, Zane’s mother was a legend, Zane should be further along, and it made my skin itch. Professor Veyra’s voice cut through the chatter like a blade. "Today, we focus on form," she said, her gaze sweeping over the room, lingering on me for just a second longer than the others. "Magic is not just power. It is precision. It is control. It is the marriage of mind, body, and intent."

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

Giving him free access to my center. But this was no creaking wooden table. It’s just a flat piece of rock. “It’s not as simple as that.” Veline explained. “Some things have to come slowly. Magic, especially that belonging to an individual rather than a group, is like a precious flower. You must give it room to grow then nurture it into full bloom.” I didn’t understand what she was saying. “You have to find it in its own time.” She elaborated. Brushing my sticky hair back from my forehead.

Wolf Mountain (Book 2 A Wolf Affair Trilogy)

Wolf Mountain (Book 2 A Wolf Affair Trilogy)

He just chuckled and assured me that there’d be no bolts of energy shooting out of my hands to worry about. To my surprise, wonderment, and amazement, the magic he showed me came from deep within me. I was the source. It required no hocus pocus words or special, overly dramatic movements. No magic wands or symbols drawn in the air or on my body. I simply had to think about what I wanted to have happen. Who would have thought it? I was required to focus my mind harder than I’d ever focused it before. As a result, my brain felt like it was made of oatmeal within fifteen minutes. That’s where the trick lied. I needed to strengthen my brain’s tolerance to being used in such a way.

he said, "for now, just think of it as separating pebbles by their size and color." [Then by doing this, you either need to weigh the atoms... or count its protons...] wrote Seb. "And have a very big knowledge of the table of elements," added Mar. "Exactly!" Dupont grinned. "Magic, after all, is just the 6 senses going haywire. Who needs an electron microscope when you can use magic to magnify things in your mind? You just need to remember what they look like." "I think I kinda get it now..." Dorin said thoughtfully. "It's like... flying up in the air and looking for a particular site in the landscape to locate a location in a map!" The others look at him blankly.

Killer Smile

“Now, I want you to picture in your head how you want to remove the infection.” “Remove the infection?” I give him a confused look. “How am I going to do that?” “It’s up to you. The more important thing is how your magic is going to take shape to heal him. You can imagine operating him on the spot with your mind.” I wince at his suggestion. “You say my magic is going to take shape based on my imagination. Does that mean that I should picture anything as long as the method coincides with the purpose?” The doctor blinks and then smiles. “My lady, you have a natural understanding to the arts. And yes, that is exactly right.”

A Kissing Spell

A Kissing Spell

I inquired hugging Grandma, trying to coax her. Grandma looked at me and sighed, shaking her head. "The more power you possess, the more your possibilities are. For women… magic can work as your best beauty product. You can also stretch the natural abilities of your body… like strength, speed, agility, or mind… like memory, focus, perceptivity…" "Wow! So magic can make me a superhuman or a genius?!" I got overly excited. "No. That kind of magic works only temporarily, and it is exhausting to use it often. There is always a price to pay… So do not overuse it!" she advised me.

I wish this book would never come to an end, i will miss Samil and kass greatly. I wouldn't mind if you can give us few bonus chapters to take a sneak peak into their lives and marriage. But all in all, the book is an emotional roller coaster that really kept me on my toes. i hope to see more.

She expects nothing useful from him though, since he doesn’t even know the basics about magic. “I think you are going the wrong way. You should not try so hard to stop thinking. Pressuring yourself when it doesn’t happen might be only making it worse. When you use force to stop your thoughts, you can’t avoid being upset or angry or something else. Those emotions are thoughts just the same, even though they are considered emotions. ”

The Lycan King’s Obsession

Jane’s POV “What’s the difference?” I asked. From the tone of her voice I could tell that she was going to start preaching to me but I was beyond that. I didn’t want to hear her preachings. “Nothing,” she shrugged while folding her arms. “Magic is not some cool power you can use for an upgrade. It’s more than that. Magic is a lifestyle. With magic you can create and destroy. With magic you can build and take down. Magic can be beautiful and it can be ugly. You don’t want to have magic with an ugly soul. Take it from me, it is never a good sign.”

Reclaimed and Mated to the Alpha Prince

Reclaimed and Mated to the Alpha Prince

The worst part is that we don't know if there are more jars of it left back in the abandoned house. But if we find a smaller place, I guess it's already too late for that. The time was a quarter before dawn and our bodies were already worn out. I don't have anything in mind either where that smaller place could be. "By believing in magic. There's this old saying that says imagination is more powerful than knowledge. If Jackson believes that we can accomplish something good and big out of that jar, it will happen. He can do it. I know Jackson can do it. There's no way he can't do it."

The Luna With Ruin

The Luna With Ruin

She sat with that. She asked Stefan whether he'd been able to confirm anything more about Aldric's possible magic. He said no, nothing new, nothing documented, still only the impression and the old man's memory from Hollow Vale thirty-five years ago. He said he was continuing to try. She asked Sable that night what she thought the document meant from the perspective of what they were trying to build with Kira's discernment work. Sable thought about it for longer than she usually took before answering and then said something that Jasmina found difficult to dismiss. She said the document's real function wasn't what it argued—it was what it invited people to feel. It was designed to make the ex
