She wore the dress and packed her hair in a ponytail. She stared at her reflection in the mirror. She knew she was beautiful but circumstances brought out the worst in her. He led her to the other side of the house where the master's room was. In the main building, only she and the master stayed there. The maids stayed in their very quarters, the same as the guards.

Her beautiful eyes, in particular, were impossible to forget. "Felix, I can't believe you didn't even bring Zara! Do you really not want your two friends to survive?" Ashton frowned. Didn't they all say that Felix was loyal to his friends? So how could he possibly take such a risk? Even though the phone call seemed to suggest that Jack and Madeline were rescued, how could that be possible with a Grandmaster guarding them? Any slight movement would have resulted in the immediate execution of those two hostages. Could the rescuer be so powerful that they could defeat the Grandmaster without leaving him any time to react?

The next wave will not be a mere taste. No. This time, they will know despair. They will see the futility of resistance. Every trap, every illusion, every shadow—they will feel it all. And I will watch.”

She laid sight on her masterpieces again with the expectation that her hallucination will fade. However, in her great astonishment, her eyes were still in their phase of deceiving her sense of reality. The eight paintings on the wall that were deemed perfect for her sight have drastically changed as its dry paint slowly melted. The vibrant colors on the canvas vanished that not a single trace of any color is visible; it had turned to a complete whiteness - wholly empty and unpigmented. She slowly attempted to investigate the floor to see where the spilled paint fell but to no avail, for the floor remain spotless of any kind.

She smile and laugh devilishly. Emily scoff and cross her arms while Nathan look at me with a shaking head. I was about to stop Emily and get her out of the cafeteria but she put her hand on my face to stop me. “Yes, that’s true and I wasn’t proud that I got him because I stole him but that’s all over now and for your information his marriage was already failing when I met him and I didn’t know that he was married but yes, that doesn’t mean I wasn’t a mistress because I chose to continue seeing him despite that fact but it cannot be undo and I suffer a lot and you have no idea what I’ve been through but you know what?
