The dangling crystal earrings glow with a faint hum of light, adding an eerie cast to her face as she holds up a thick, hide-bound book and guides me to an empty chair. "Be at ease."

It is rumoured that somewhere on the earth exists a moonstone so powerful it is believed to have fallen from the moon itself as a gift from the Moon Mother.
