The Nag Hammadi Library Novels & Stories

Mila thought this place had a tower of its own, because far up there, she could see the curtains covering the large windows that surrounded the spire. Meanwhile, the stone walls were lined with shelves displaying various types of books. There may be thousands or even tens of thousands of books in here. However, one thing that caught Mila's attention was… “These are ancient magic scriptures” Mila mumbled, running her fingertips across each book spine that was neatly arranged. They were all written in an ancient script that only a few vampires could translate. “This… is dark magic.” “Yes, these are all forbidden books that not just anyone can see.” Liam confirmed Mila's statement.

The rarest and most precious items from this collection had led to the formation of our society, and also helped christen it. Through means we had never discovered, Patterson’s Uncle had procured perhaps the only surviving copies of the Codex Transfiguratio, the Codex Conscientia, and the Vos Hokkumah Scrolls. Among the most forbidden and blasphemous texts in the history of civilisation, this collection of writings comprised the only known repository of the heretical Qu’rm Saddic teachings, also known, in times of yore, as The Faith that Came Before Man. Each one of them had been copied by hand and translated into Anglo Saxon from tongues so ancient that no record of them yet remains. “It wa

I closed my eyes, thinking about him, only to open them the next minute reproving myself for wasting time. I was supposed to be reading those books I borrowed. I decided to sift through a few to find some clue, anything that helped me understand this madness. I kept getting distracting finding random objects in Marcus's bedroom. Reading those wooden tablets and parchment scrolls was pretty boring compared to exploring his stuff. I caught myself multiple times snooping around and went back to reluctantly to read some more. I found a scroll about Hermeticism that Selma talked about yesterday. There was something called a lament by Thoth, an Egyptian god known to the Romans as Mercury.

"We don't use money here, Oneiric. We trade in favors. Secrets. And labor." She lowered herself to the ground. "What can you do? besides warp reality when you cry?" "I’m an archivist," Emily said. "I organize chaos. I find patterns where other people see noise." Morrigan raised an eyebrow. She gestured to a heavy iron door at the back of the atrium. "The Library of the Lost," Morrigan said. "We have scrolls dating back to the First Era. Grimoires written in dead tongues. Prophecies that drove their authors mad. It hasn't been organized in three centuries because most people who try end up bleeding from their eyes."

He knew that within these pages lay the answers he sought, the forbidden knowledge that could potentially grant him a momentary respite from the pain in his heart. As he delved deeper into the library's labyrinthine corridors, Offilies guided him to a secluded section, known only to a select few. Here, the most treasured and dangerous texts were kept under lock and key. Azrael's heart raced with anticipation as Offilies unlocked the door, revealing a room filled with shelves upon shelves of ancient scrolls and manuscripts. "These are the forbidden texts," Offilies whispered, his voice filled with reverence and caution. "Legends speak of their power and the consequences that come with seeking

Ophia dared to ask. Queen Hyacinth’s hair changed colour, and Hale knew that he had to jump in. “The Great Library of The Vale of Ameran has millennia worth of information and knowledge on the different species and events through the times. However, with how delicate some of that information is, the library has been spelled to protect all that information. If it isn’t navigated properly, or the objects in it not handled in the right way, then the library could cave in on itself, taking with it all that information. Not even in Ameran does everyone have access to it. Only a select few people can go there, and you need to be trained before entry on how to handle everything.” “So, what you’re s

The outside of this building is built with the spirits marble that can supply the energy to the great formation that protects this building. Inside the Library are the countless bookshelves that store more than millions of books; most of it is the books from all the sects that the Black merchant destroyed in his early days as The Venerable Black River. The books contain a lot of knowledge ranging from the basic history to the forbidden knowledge that many cultivators would kill to get it. The sight of these books can make Zhu Wushang poker face broken and become astounding and display a great hunger for knowledge that he would usually hide.

Whatever was behind that door, it was a power unlike anything I had ever felt. I approached the stone. Etched above the handle were a few old runes. I said a quiet prayer of thanks that Esmeralda had always insisted that Felix and I study ancient texts, because it was easy for me to read the three words, spelled out like a welcome–or a warning. LIBRARY OF MAGIC. There was no use in debating whether it was safe to enter. So I did. The door easily opened for me, revealing a dimly lit space. Next to the door was a lantern and a set of matches. I sighed and lit the lantern, desperate for a chance to examine what exactly it was I was looking at.

I opened the door and went inside. Ban: This is.... Lord Drago: The Avereza true hidden library. It was a small library and it seems all the books written by Lucifer were here. Now it is more mysterious as to what was in the other room. Lord Gula: ......!!! This... I cannot believe it.. Lord Anex: ?? What is it? Did you find your book? Lord Gula: No.. this is something I never would have thought even existed and if anything else I am more confused why something like this would be here.

“It allows us to keep the space air-controlled.” Liam and I nodded, and the librarian left us. Once we were alone, we looked around, not sure where to start. Finally, we decided to split up; I took a section on ancient mythologies to start while Liam took the section on priceless artifacts. It felt like hours that we searched. We scoured the shelves high to low, fingers becoming coated with dust and the scent of old paper. But we found nothing on magical crystals that could expel dark magic. I began to lose hope, and was about to suggest trying a different approach when Liam suddenly shouted, “Aha!” from across the room. Reshelving the book I was holding on hidden tombs, I rushed over to whe
