They ended up going back inside the store and this time decided to head into the cosmetics and perfumery section where there were a lot of high end and niche luxury cosmetics and perfumes. Vian told Irina that she could buy something she is interested in and Vian would get it for her. However, Irina had a different idea.

Her features hardened for a split second before she put her creepy smile back on. "Oh! I'm sorry I forgot my manners. I'm Nina Cole, from Cole cosmetics. I'm sure you heard about it." Of course, I did. It's a big company, and its products are quite popular. I decided to ignore her last remark and kept looking at her waiting for her next question. The tension was building around us, and little by little, her smile was disappearing.

Chapter 8 The next day, Jack woke up earlier than usual, feeling extremely anxious. Julieta had suggested that he buy beauty products for Charlotte, and he thought it was an excellent idea. Now he was in town, standing inside the perfume shop. Upon seeing the enormous quantity of products, he no longer found the idea quite so exciting. He had no idea where to begin. “May I help you with something, sir?” asked a saleswoman, noticing Jack’s confused expression. “Yes, please,” Jack replied, relieved. “I’m looking for some beauty products for my fiancée, but I don’t really know what to buy.”
