She said looking up from her phone. "Sold, take me there driver!" Noah shouted and Max glared at him. Noah looked at the little city as they drove through downtown. "Wow, it almost feels like home!.... Oh Wow, except for that, we don't have that over there! Noah said as his eyes caught sight of the pond with a large fountain and a bridge going over the pond that you can walk on. He can see from the car that it splits off in another directions at the center of the pond.

* *Name the place. I thought of the little playground two blocks over—the one with the rusty slide and the benches no one ever used because it was tucked behind an old church. No paparazzi would think to look there. No one would care. *Playground on Maple and 14th. 3 PM? Kids can play. We can talk.* *I'll be there. Bring them snacks if you want. I can stop for something.* *We have crackers.* *Then I'll bring better crackers.* A laughing emoji. Then a heart. Just one. Small. Careful.

MADO PARK AND ENTERTAINMENT Hazel led Chloe to the most-rated park in the city, she had never been there also but she was glad about being able to explore places like that with Chloe. The park was a very big space with so many exciting rides and snacks. It was bubbling with people but the staff made sure the crowd was coordinated and not rowdy. Apart from the exciting rides, there was a small concert going on by a band of four men. People gathered in front of them and enjoyed their soothing music.

In the very center of downtown Riversville is a small park. It has a cute little gazebo and a water feature that looks like a waterfall turning into a small stream. Some bronze statues of children and birds play endlessly in the looping water. There's a nice open space full of green grass with trees on the edges. The Fourth of July city picnic was always held here and in May and June the gazebo often held weddings.

Then his eyes clouded over again, lost in thought. Head down, he quietly put on his shoes and followed Nora and me out the door. The neighborhood community park wasn't far. It was beautiful, complete with a massive pond where swans drifted lazily across the water. The landscaping was dense with rock gardens and tall trees, alongside a designated playground for the younger pups. I let the two of them play for a while. Once I got tired, I found a spot on a stone bench near a rock formation to rest, keeping the kids well within my line of sight.

The only consolation was that the water spewing from the mouth of the winged creature on top was still spraying at full force.
