Midnight Horror Show

Midnight Horror Show

It was a few minutes past three o’clock, so I left Mills to it and drove through for two coffees and headed to the park to meet Donna. Riverside Park was not much more than a stretch of grass next to a quarter mile concrete path that ran along the riverside from the edge of the rail yards to the 139 bridge. The rain had stopped falling, but it seemed to hang there in the air along with the scent of wet leaves and river mud. There was only one car in the parking lot and I could see Donna leaning against the old iron rail overlooking the river. I parked nearby and made my way over doing my best to balance the two coffees and a pile of creams and sugars.

The Billionaire's Proxy Bride

The Billionaire's Proxy Bride

Damon raised an eyebrow but complied, lifting the bike onto his side with practiced ease. The park came into view, small but picturesque, with a few scattered benches, neatly trimmed grass, and a fountain that caught the sunlight in rippling patterns. A handful of people strolled along the paths—an elderly couple feeding ducks,a pair of teenagers laughing while skateboarding near the edge of the park and a few tourists who were lined up in a group talking imperceptibly. They leaned the bike against a tree and walked toward a wooden bench beneath a large plane tree, settling beside each other.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

Children playing while their parents had picnic's, teenagers throwing frisbee's for their dogs, the light scent of grilled burgers lingering in the air. This time around; there was no laugher, no scraped knees or grass stains. The large, circular fountain that sat towards the right of the park was also deserted, the flowers that had once been blossoming were now nothing more than withered husks. The only consolation was that the water spewing from the mouth of the winged creature on top was still spraying at full force. Nicki and Finn had already started training, and stood at the center of the field. I noticed they were away from the tree's, far from their hanging branches and flammable lea

Miss Nessie
Not a bad book, a few errors and gramma issues, needs to be edited. I would love to see a second book, but that probably won’t happen. The friends characters were a huge part to this book and I would love to see some short stories from their pov, there could be some really good story lines.

Each time I read your book, I say that's my favorite of all your books but this...this is very intriguing. I can't put it down honestly, now I say—I'm gonna read all of your books. It's you and I because your writing style is way more than I've ever seen anyone use before.

He Wants Me More After Divorce

He Wants Me More After Divorce

I didn’t drive home. I drove to the park at the other end of our neighborhood—the one Estelle took the kids to on weekends, with the wooden climbing structure and the pond. The light had gone flat and gray, the temperature dropping. I walked to the bench by the pond and sat down. Ducks on the water. A woman throwing a tennis ball for a brown spaniel. A man pushing a stroller one-handed while he ate a sandwich. Joggers in bright jackets came past in ones and twos on the loop.

Deception

Deception

I hit the triangle. The sound was terrible, mostly static and unrecognizable voices. The picture was shaky and unfocused. It had undoubtedly been taken with someone’s cell phone. It wasn’t until near the end when the photographer zoomed in on a couple being escorted into an SUV that I saw myself. Instead of keeping my head down like Nox had done, I looked up over my shoulder at the crowd. There wasn’t a name, but it wouldn’t take long before it was figured out. The small news snippet asked if anyone knew how this couple was involved in the shooting of an innocent woman in Central Park.

The lost packs

The lost packs

*Amber* The park sits at the heart of the city, a lush green oasis bordered by towering trees that lead down to the harbor. On the opposite side, a few small shops stand, including a pub, a grocery store, and a clothing boutique. In the center of the park, an empty fountain casts a shadow over a worn skating ramp and a basketball court with tattered nets, remnants of happier games played under the sun.

Aegis Group Task Force

Aegis Group Task Force

Wednesday. Kensico Dam Plaza, White Plains, NY. TABBY SAT ON THE picnic bench staring off at people jogging the trail around the historic park. When they'd set off that morning for the shop she'd expected more excitement. Maybe a little danger to rival the failed kidnapping attempt on her that she still knew nothing about. She'd dressed for that in boots, black jeans and a dark maroon top. Instead they'd made a purchase, she'd passed a coded note to the attendant and fifteen minutes after they'd left she'd gotten a call on her burner phone to arrange a meeting.

The CEO's Ex-Wife Gets Revenge

The CEO's Ex-Wife Gets Revenge

“How about we meet at Centurion Park? It’s such a beautiful day, and I was planning to feed the pigeons there. Join me?” Flora agreed, albeit with some hesitation. Centurion Park was known for its sprawling green lawns, ancient trees that cast generous shade, and a picturesque lake where people often enjoyed paddle boating. The park was a tranquil haven amidst the bustling city, a place where time seemed to slow down. She hoped the serene setting would work in her favor.

Shining Life of The Abandoned Luna

Shining Life of The Abandoned Luna

Then his eyes clouded over again, lost in thought. Head down, he quietly put on his shoes and followed Nora and me out the door. The neighborhood community park wasn't far. It was beautiful, complete with a massive pond where swans drifted lazily across the water. The landscaping was dense with rock gardens and tall trees, alongside a designated playground for the younger pups. I let the two of them play for a while. Once I got tired, I found a spot on a stone bench near a rock formation to rest, keeping the kids well within my line of sight.

The Ice King And His Hockey Boy Toy

The Ice King And His Hockey Boy Toy

“First, I saw Noah’s sports car parked near your campus trails. So, I did a little digging. I followed the breadcrumbs. And wow... I found some fantastic gold.” My heart stopped beating, and eyelashes were already fluttering uncontrollably. Tobias turned his phone around, pressing the screen against the clear plexiglass barrier so I was forced to look at it. My eyes widened more than they had ever done in my entire life. It was a photo… the quality was blurry because it was taken from a distance in the dark, but it was undeniable. The first image showed Noah’s power bike hidden in the middle of the walk away. But then the second image... the second image was a nightmare come to life.
