My breathing was shallow while Eli and I attacked each other. "Hey Hey Hey!" I blush and separated from Eli while glimpsing at Irma. "Get your butts out here before you miss the run." Eli sighs in defeat before we follow her downstairs. "What's the run?" I ask Irma while Eli grabs my hand, she glances over her shoulder with a smile. "Not very many packs do it nowadays. Its when the new Luna and Alpha take the entire pack for a run around their territory." I nodded and sigh when the cold air hit my skin. It was about 8 at night right now, the sky had darkened.

The sounds coming from the phone my teammates were holding was a familiar voice. The one that pissed me off and surprisely made me laugh sometimes. “I want Crowley to know that I am not going easy on him and his quack team this season and I am ready to get them out of the game before the series” Orson’s smooth deep voice came out of the phone speaker. I looked at the phone and Orson was staring straight at the camera, he was shirtless and his dirty blonde hair was pushed back not styled but messy. Maybe he was trying to get his hair out of his face.

Orion tried three times, one slower than the other. In the end, his score stayed at a 01:12:39, but he remained in second place for the whole match. Not only the two boys he paid off, but their whole swimming team, and a handful of other alphabloods all stayed close to his score, with only a few seconds behind. Orion hated it. He knew they all slowed down because they didn’t want to make him look bad, but exactly because of that, his whole arrangement ended up a perfect stage set up for Leo--

Liam’s POV Mid baby shower, Ian informed me his team had found the “items” on his family’s property and were bringing them to our compound. He assured me this team could be trusted and he sent a few of my trusted men with them too, which definitely made me feel better.

Grant asked with maybe a bit too much edge in his voice. Orion turned toward him, brows lifted. "Zain's handling it." "I see, so we aren't doing it. Zain is?" He shrugged. "It's a team effort." Grant and Orion studied each other. Orion was one of those guys, the self-assured ones who always thought it would work out, the bad stuff never happened to them. He didn't live in reality. Grant did. Melody broke the moment by stepping between them. "Thanks so much, Orion. I think my team and I need to discuss our next steps, and it is best if you aren't involved."

Orion said. “Take him to the red guy, let him clean his wounds and give him boosters, we need him up and doing in the morning, we don’t have much time.” He ordered and his men took Simon and went away. Orion burst out in a loud laugh, he was happy that their plans were finally going to be executed. He brought out his phone and dialled Jack’s number, he needed to share the good news with him. “Prepare everything, the motherfucker is here and we will be in Shadowclaw tomorrow.” Orion told him.

So I followed him to Tristan's table, pasting that smile back on my face. "Do you mind us joining you?" Orion asked with a smirk, already pulling out a chair. Tristan looked up, and our eyes met for just a moment before he looked away. "What will you do if I mind?" "We both know I and Athena are the air you breath." Tristan smiled without countering Orion's words. The next few minutes was filled with Orion and Tristan bickering about their clubs. Orion was a Barcelona fan, while Tristan was a Real Madrid fan. I rolled my eyes as they wouldn't stop comparing their clubs, but I was glad their focus wasn't on me.

she says her in between laughs "Now you won't get to think of me too much, not under all those pounds of man muscle.” I groaned out loud, sex was the last thing going on in my mind, I for one was sure Orion quitting the team in the middle of the highlight of the season, although it didn't affect his college or studies and his admission was not tied down to this, I still had a foreboding feeling that this was going to come back to bite ass, my ass in particular, I didn't want to be roped in this part of his life and I'd really hate that he felt a chivalrous need to defend my honor and he quit the team because of that.

“While most of you were sleeping. You’re welcome.” Nolan choked on a laugh. Draven smirked. Lysander didn’t react. He never did. The team slowly leaned in - less skeptical now, more curious. Analytics Lady cleared her throat. “If we run these numbers… it might actually work.” “And it will,” I said. “Because today, I’m meeting with Orion Tech. They need a partner. We need a foothold. Their project is drowning, and they know it. We’ll pull them out - and they’ll owe us.”
