Marie told him that it was Lilia who told her to give Sherly hot water to make her sell drugs, and it was Lilia who asked her live-in partner to rape Sherly. "She scalded Sherly with hot water?" Hideous asked, his voice laced with incredulity. "And she made her sell drugs? How could she do such things to my own daughter?"

He looked like he walked straight out of a pirate story.

He really felt that this third child of his boss, the only woman, was much more fearful than the first two. When Mr. Park was busy downloading the document, as soon as the email was downloaded, it vanished without a trace, leaving him momentarily stunned.

A wave of fondness washed over her at the memory of the little boy's enthusiastic search. Marcus chuckled.

Kat's conscience could only take so much. Taking a deep, resolute breath, Kat made a beeline towards the little nook in the shop where the books with darker themes were displayed. She felt like a pirate finally stumbling upon treasure. Here were the titles she was hoping to see.
