The Promise Of Forever Cast Novels & Stories

“Well, what if it's possible for you to have his number?” Kat disliked matchmaking duties. She usually felt like it was a pointless thing to do. What if she matchmade two people that were bad for each other? They would blame her? But if it was to get the tickets Rowland promised, then he better be right. “Are you crazy Kat? There's no way he'll remember me.” Daya scoffed. “You know I used to work at Valtara right? And trust me, he didn't forget about you.” “Are you serious? He didn't? I mean that was like five years ago since I saw him.”

The handwriting was unmistakably his—bold, strong, and a little hurried, as if he couldn't get the words out fast enough. Ashley, the note began. I know I’ve spent a long time trying to prove my worth to you again, but tonight, seeing you stand there under the moon, I realized that words will never be enough. I love you more than I have the vocabulary to explain. I’m not going to promise you a perfect life. We both know we’ve seen too much of the world to believe in fairy tales. We’ll have bad days, we’ll have arguments, and we’ll face things that try to tear us apart. But I am promising you a forever. I am promising that no matter how hard it gets, I will be right here, holding your hand. Y

The awkward moment passed quickly, and everyone soon went back to enjoying the party. I laughed and joked along with them, genuinely happy for the two stars of the night: my best friend, Zoe Cole, and her boyfriend. The teasing had started earlier when, halfway through the party, Lucas Brent suddenly dropped to one knee and proposed to Zoe. That left only Felix Foster and me as the last two in the group with no signs of marriage after all these years. During one of the games, Zoe changed seats and sat beside me, quietly squeezing my hand under the table.

Still loving. "Forever starts now," Julian said. "Forever starts now," I agreed. The sun was shining. The birds were singing. The house was full of noise and chaos and love. James looked at me. "Mommy?" "Yes, James?" "Are we going to be together forever?" I looked at Julian. I looked at Lily. I looked at Damian. Chloe. My mother. Simone. Charlie. Princess. Baxter. "Yes, James," I said. "We are." "Why?"

And I never wanted this feeling to end. “Promise me this is forever.” I pulled back to look into his eyes, the blue depths holding a kind of sincerity that almost unraveled me. “Forever.” Caleb said, pulling me back in for a kiss. “I promise.”

I say as I hug her and I mean it. “Do you promise, forever?” “Yes my love, I promise. Forever, Amy and Dad against the world.”

"The engagement's off. We're just history now. What do you want?" Before I could finish, he was on me—arms locked around me like he could fuse us back together. Then he cracked. Quiet sobs turned full-on meltdown, tears soaking through my gown as he clung tighter. "We're not over... we're not ending this... we swore we'd be FOREVER, remember? You forgot—didn't you forget—?" I just stared, slow-blinking through the chaos. That "forever" he swore was ten years ago. Back when we were just kids, sneaking out, making promises under the sunset. Before my parents died.

I didn't care that I was making a big fool out of myself. He pulled back so that we could stare at each other. He scans his eyes over my features as if memorizing everything. "I promise." Feeling satisfied with his words I nodded slowly. "Forever." I whispered as I heard them call out his flight. His eyes moisten visibly as he peers down at me." Forever." His voice cracks as he dips his head one last time to capture my lips. He broke away way too soon and looks at all of us one last time before turning around.

"Will y'all please let us get through our first day first? Y'all just wanna be up in his business. You guys I really like him. So let's not run him away yet." "We wanna screen him before you get too far in like Damien. We gotta give him the sisters approval. We just want you to be happy Luv." Replied Sheka. I decided on a little black dress that covered me but showed off my curves with the red bottom shoes that they suggested. Sheka flat iron my natural long hair and gave me a soft beat makeover . I was set and looked amazing. As soon as I was ready, I rushed them out the door and waited for my date to arrive.

“You won’t understand but… I… really do” “Then why don’t you just promise?” I sighed. “Fine, I promise” She nodded. “Okay” We all stayed there, and waited for her. There was nothing that we could do, there was not even the slightest idea where she could be. “I said to report to the Police if she doesn’t return,” Ryan said to Hannah. “Did you?” Her face was pale. “Uh…” “What? Did you not?” “I was-- we were searching so--”
