The Red Fairy Book Novels & Stories

My conscience won't let me leave this place after witnessing such. "Alright Mira. Listen up." He started. Everyone stood where they were, he looked behind and everyone encouraged him to go on. "There was once a fairy, a very beautiful fairy, who left her beautiful garden to look for some fun. Then one day when she was out exploring, a tree spirit suddenly spoke to her and told her that a small child who was stuck in a tree, he was able to climb up, but not come down, that's because he was afraid of heights." She laughed a little, but stopped because she kept coughing, Richard shook his head, warning not to make her laugh to avoid any unnecessary complications and Malicay nodded in agreement.

A castle made with white and blue marbles surrounded by an enormous garden decorated with varieties of flowers and five elegant beautiful structures covering the outer circle of fountains where some fairies are playing with water. The whole place is crying beauty and magic as with each step we are taking inside the land of fairies. Storybook doesn't do any justice while describing these magical creatures. Their charm is beyond what words can describe, different colors of glittering materials are proudly covering their Snow White skins from the eyes of predictors. Though I'm not sure if they have wings or not because whether the material is hiding it from other gazes or not all fairies posses

he taunted playfully in a high pitch voice and Mj lightly punched him in the shoulder. “Little red riding hood...very funny” she quipped and Dante pointed toward a large red book at the very top of the pillar. “It’s that one if you want to read the original by Charles Perrault.” Mj grinned sideways at Dante before using Theron’s power to zero in on the title of the book he had been pointing at. “Dante it says Le Petit Rouge….I don't speak french.”

He said. Reyan’s eyes widened in shock when he heard what Hierro said. “What?” he muttered under his breath. Hierro stared at him. “That book was written about fairies, and Blue came to our world.” he said. “Isn’t this seeing the future of our world?” he asked. Reyan’s mouth fell open in shock. He never thought of this! “You have a point…” he muttered when he finally calmed himself down.

They smell weird, like pinecones and various seeds, and I whimper when a hand grabs my scruff. I flail in the air, growling at the curious red eyes blinking at me. It seems I'm faced with yet another fairy—this one got red hair and orange wings, probably some fire-type idiot. It's a woman, and her smile is anything but kind when she tilts her head. "Oh, what do we have here?"

Daff listened to her two friends bicker away as she slid two books into a shelf. The library was full of students sitting in different corners, most not bothering Daffodil as they sat by themselves or in groups, reading the books they had taken. Daffodil walked over to her desk, her friends subconsciously following along as they continued to argue. “You guys,” the pink haired fairy urged, as her eyes travelled through the Library, watching all of the humans studying, “can’t you give it a rest?”

"You had a non-dragon mate that you rejected, didn't you?" Fafnir let out an aroused sounding moan, and hearing it coming through the phone was a little more than disturbing to say the least. "Oh boy did I ever. Scarlett. She was the fire fairy princess of our hemisphere. Drop dead gorgeous, curves like you wouldn't believe, long wavy blood red hair, sparkling orange eyes, the heart of a saint with the level of crazy that could keep a man happy in bed until his dying breath." "What ever happened between the two of you?"

The book instantly flicked to the page that said Chapter One. "Page one hundred thirty-six," he said again. Immediately, the pages flipped until they reached the said page. "Wow," I uttered. "Exactly. Inside this book is everything you'll ever want to know about fairies, including the downy fairy." He motioned around the room. "Under or beside each creature is a book that will teach you what you need to know about them, including how to help them, hunt them, and kill them." I couldn't help the shiver that ran down my body.

The status of fairies can easily be recognized by the color of their eyes starting from silver for the royal family, red for the fairy elders, blue for the seers, green for regular fairies and purple for the fairy warriors. I was hooked on the interesting history of the fairies when I heard a high pitched scream. I turned towards the noise while covering my ears only to come face to face with a bewildered looking Adrianna. 'What are you doing here and that too with that' she shrieked, pointing to the book I was holding. 'Oh. I was trying to read to calm my nerves. I walked in, saw this cabinet, opened it and found this interesting book' I said all in one breath.
