The Rejected Mate Slade Angel Novels & Stories

And then, with a voice that cut sharper than claws, he spoke. "I reject you." The words were ice, his tone was merciless. Amanda’s world tilted. She didn't fully understand what was happening or what Skylar meant, but she knew it was bad. "No—", her voice cracked with emotion, raw and broken, but Skylar didn’t falter. "I reject you as my mate", his chest heaved, but his eyes did not waver. He looked at her, through her, as though the connection that had just ripped their souls open was something to despise.

She was not ready to hear it. “I, Gideon Woodbead, the Alpha king of the Shadowcrest pack, reject you, Angela Clampitt as my mate, Luna and wife.” The Alpha deadly tone rang in the air as He snarled, looking down at her. Angela gasped loudly, she felt like a physical blow as she staggered back. She felt like someone plucked her heart out painfully. She let out a cry in agony as sudden hollowness gripped her body after being rejected. She looked into his black pitch eyes glaring at her.

Adolphus spoke to me in a hushed tone. I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths to suppress my anger. His touch provided me the comfort that I desperately wanted right now, but the pain and anger bubbling inside my heart were still uncomfortable. “Who was my mother’s second mate, and why did my mother reject him?” I asked them in a stiff voice. “Your mother never rejected her mate, Angel. She can’t. Every special wolf must not reject his or her mate unless the latter part rejects them. Just like your first mate rejected you,” The hologram replied to me in that same calm tone.

Slade muttered, his tone uncertain. I scowled inwardly. "Seems special doesn’t count, Slade. I can’t feel the mate pull with her. How does that make her special?" Slade hesitated before responding, his voice tinged with conflict. "The sight of her excites me, but… something’s off. It’s like there’s a barrier. A part of me wants to claim her, and another part rejects her entirely." Caspian cleared his throat, breaking the tense silence. "Alpha, I don’t understand. You’ve been waiting for your mate, and now that she’s here…"

I saw the mating bond thread on my hand and that of Elara's. “I can't be your mate, Elara,” I declined. The brightness on her face dulled and her pretty smile faded. “Wait, what?” She flapped her lashes at me, trying to register what I'd said. I rubbed my temple, letting out an exasperated sigh. I held her gaze, “I, Kaiden Slade, refuse to be your mate,” I let out. Elara's eyes bulged out of her sockets, and she choked. “Wh-why?”

"What's the message?" He sat carefully, adjusted his collar once like it was too tight, and then looked at me with the expression of someone about to deliver something he wasn't entirely sure would land well. "Alpha Slade acknowledges the divorce proceedings. He is not here to contest them or cause a disruption to your family's territory." A small pause, like he was choosing his next words exactly as they'd been given to him. "He is asking for one private conversation. No lawyers. No formal pack representation from either side. Just the two of you."

I paused to observe his features “I promised not to tell you, but I think you should know at this point,” “Tell me what?” He leaked his alpha aura to his tone, an indication that he was irritated. “Sapphire found her mate once, and she rejected him because she wanted to be with you,” I stated. His features darkened, a vein twitched in his jaw “She wouldn’t do that,” “It’s true Slade. That’s when I hinted she was obsessed with you,” More guilt tore at my chest.

A long pause, “I’m happy for you. May the moon bless you with many cubs and a lifetime of happiness. I need to go. I’m about to leave for work. And you sound a bit drunk.” “I’m not drunk enough Basil. Wait. I haven’t told you the best part of my story yet. Slade knew from the moment we first met all those years ago. And he rejected me. He’d rather be a lone wolf and give up his whole life than be my mate I’ve lived with him haunting me, inside my head, and now I know why…” I laugh again, though I feel the bitter sting of tears in my eyes. “I’m truly sorry Sloane. That’s fucked up. But why are you telling me all this exactly?”

They must be kidding, there’s no way he will accept a guy as his partner that will stay at their side and provides them the physical needs they needed for a lifetime, and with that thinking of his, he and the other one that was sleeping lazily on his head and eyes barely opened subconsciously rejected every idea to be close and intimate with this guy who was named after an Angel despite the little bit of stinging pain inside the core of their heart. Angelo's face was very ugly, it was unknown whether it was because of Hades strongly rejecting him to be his partner or something else but nevertheless, Angelo's heart still felt hurt inside his chest when he heard the other person's strong rejec

“Two hundred years ago, I And Storman were entwined to be mates. We were so in love with each other and everyone thought that we were inseparable but not until I discovered that he was cheating on me with my best friend. I was broken - so broken that I had to confront him but he murdered me instead. I swore to have my revenge if I was ever given a chance to come back to the world. “After that long wait, I was finally reincarnated to you. You were a late bloomer because I was a late bloomer too. I found out that you and Jared were entwined from the very first night that your eyes met his, there was a glitch in the match making and I manipulated you and Wilford to think that you were mates. Bu
