Something wild

Something wild

The clouds had turned a startling, wild-rose pink, the world was a wild contrast of dark and light, heat and cold, and her body was at the center of it all, moving helplessly against the wild magic of his sensual mouth. She sobbed with the unbearable perfection of it as he pushed her gently over the crest, just as the last, faint burning star in the sky was swallowed up by the pale blue of morning. He gathered her into his arms and lowered her body gently back down into the water, cradling her in his strong arms until the tremors melted away. She clung to him for a long time, her face hidden against his neck, before venturing ing to look up. He shifted her body to face him. " Tell me somethi

Alpha Ares

Alpha Ares

I felt stupid; my brain couldn’t make sense of the simplest things. I cracked my eyelids open. Dawn sat heavily in the sky, a bloated sun dancing just above the horizon. The last open buds of the night-blooming wildrush, a delicate white flower that looked like dancers with their legs wide and flowing, dotted the canopy of greenery that hid us, for the most part, from view. Dew dotted the leaves and stray strands of grass carpeting the woodland floor.

This story was absolutely amazing! So many emotions. I do have a question, will there be a continued story about nazte and cen? I just feel like they should have a story about starting over/forgiveness.

This book had me on the verge of anger, laughter, intrigue, sadness and long last releasing a breath of relief and joy. Beautifully woven into this wonderful story was a great understanding of human behavior through a myriad of emotions that kept me reading on until the end.

Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

Giving into the pull, I can feel the transfer of energy between myself and the ground. A loud gasp pulls me from my trance and Grace is looking at me with her eyes opened wide. At first I thought that I had done something terribly wrong, until I glanced around me. The snow that covered the ground has melted and a field of beautiful wildflowers has taken its place. I trace my fingers along one of the unopened buds growing next to me and the flower springs to life before my eyes. My stomach is fluttering, and it feels as if it is doing summersaults. Grace is still staring at me in shock.

Lockers Orphanage

Lockers Orphanage

Although we never had a chance to bid a proper goodbye, at least we knew we did our best for what is right. After that, my messy but joyful life seemed to come to an end. It feels like everything happened just yesterday, yet I know it's been a long time since the terrifying war with the dark realm. I can now feel my entire body lying on a soft bed, which I guess is made of swan feathers. The sweet floral scent in the air suggests daffodils. My hands grip the smooth texture of their stems. "Rebirth and new beginnings." That's what daffodils symbolize.

The Alpha Professor and His Mate

The Alpha Professor and His Mate

She took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the pure, rejuvenating air, and set off on her journey. The ground beneath her feet felt soft and welcoming, covered with a thick carpet of moss that cushioned each step. Vibrant wildflowers bloomed along the edges of the winding path she followed, their petals displaying an array of colours, from delicate pastels to bold, vibrant hues. Butterflies fluttered gracefully from flower to flower, adding a touch of ethereal beauty to the already enchanting scene.

June Summerfield

June Summerfield

At least she won't be lonely. The pain in her chest was still just as fresh as ever, making it hard to get anything done. But she knew she had to do this to bring Hunter back. She'd only need a few things. Some could be easily found in town while others would be a bit more difficult to find. And she only had 48 hours. Well, 47 now but who's counting? She mounted the horse and decided to do a few laps while she waited on Lucas to finish getting ready. The recipe for a resurrection spell wasn't difficult. It was finding the flower and doing it right on the first try. June was told where the flower should be located, and given the necessary tools to get there. Seemed simple enough, but it would

Soulless Seas

Soulless Seas

I coo and babble with her as we walk towards a plant that I accidentally killed because I forgot to water it. I move towards it and sit down with her in my lap and drag the pot towards us. Everyone watches as I take her hands in mine and place her finger on a leaf that is brown and brittle. I watch as the plant begins to flourish; it becomes healthy again and it blooms. My eyes widen as I look at my father in shock and he looks confused. “Please tell me you didn’t gift her the power of resurrection?” I hiss at him and he looks from me to the plant.

What she did find was the flowers Jacob had been bringing for her placed at where they normally sit but as she found the flowers, they had all withered. Dear Ex, I'm More Than Your Plan B

Dear Ex, I'm More Than Your Plan B

He stood there in his usual tailored elegance, but tonight, he held something behind his back. His lips tugged up in the faintest smirk. “Switching things up. We did agree on that, didn’t we?” Before she could respond, he pulled a bouquet from behind his back. Not red roses. Not lilies. Not anything cliché. Wildflowers. Sun kissed marigolds. Soft lavender. Pale blue cornflowers. Queen Anne’s lace. A messy, vibrant, beautiful chaos of color. Vera blinked, stunned. “You brought me… weeds?” “They’re wildflowers,” he corrected, unbothered. “Untamed. Stubborn. Grow where they want. Kind of reminded me of you.”
