As if some electricity has run down to my spine, I shuddered at his imagining touch. “I have regretted way too much of my stupidity. Now I want to think wisely.” Controlling my running heartbeat, I spoke without cracking a voice. “Fair enough. I will wait for your wise and right decision, sugar.” Saying, he detached his body and looked into my eyes. This time, his eyes were cold. The eyes used to be held warmth for me now have something I can’t pin-point. ‘Why am I getting the feeling something is off?’

While I was tangled with my boyfriend in bed, I heard violent thumps coming from the door outside. I opened my eyes in a daze. "Is… Is someone knocking on the door…?" The man nibbled my earlobe, his voice hoarse and slurred, "Must have been the wind, baby…" In front of my eyes, the comments flew past. [Sweetie, look at the man in front of you a little closer, won't you?] [This is hilarious! The MC thought the contract only works one-on-one, but he forgot he had a twin brother from the very same bloodline, haha!] [Heh! Why just one brother if you can have both? She won't have to worry about going hungry ever again. What a lucky girl!] As my brain worked to process the information, a man's trembling roar came from outside the door, "Hyde, you scumbag! Get out here right now!"

He looked up at the sky filled with dancing stars "I wonder how long it will take for this realm to become extinct." The savior thought within himself. "Well, that would take a billion years, give or take." The savior heard in his head. He looked around to see who it was but he didn't see anyone, he replied anyway "Then we need to make that billion years into few years. And I know what to do." The round table was covered with a golden cloth with some strangers sitting round it "I hope we are all clear on what to do?" The savior asked.

The night was stormy and the sky was without stars as the cloud weeps heavily, the rain poured down in endless torrents as the rogues tore through the pack killing every living and moving thing they could find, lightning flashes across the sky and the thunder roars louder than ever. I stood in the midst of all the destruction too shocked to move a limb, a dirty looking brown rogue noticed me and darted in my direction but my mom's white wolf ran into his side causing him to fall to the ground before digging her teeth into his neck and then proceeded to shake her head until the brown Wolf's neck snap with a sickening pop, she let go and was making her way to me when a rogue jumped on her back and tore a huge chunk of flesh of her neck she yelped in pain and fell to the ground before shifting back into her human form as her body became too weak to keep her in wolf form. The wolf took another at her draining her of all life while I stood rooted to a spot with tears out of my eyes. A painful howl sounded not too far away and my eyes darted to the black wolf it came from, my father's wolf Whimpered at the loss of his soul mate. The rogue leader took the chance and lunged at his throat killing him. And so in one night my parents to a pack of rogues and it's all because I was too weak to do anything to save them.

“Destroy any idea you have of me, Kalix!” her voice trails off and instead of lashing out at her, he calmly tells her the words she needs to hear. “I will let the world burn for you, Audrey. This is how it always had to end. If I can't have you then no one can.” she fears him, and his eyes show how sincere he is.

“Is this what you wanted?” He sneers, eyes cold and unforgiving. It was as if I was looking into the eyes of a stranger. He looks down on me due to his tall stature. “To be the ‘pathetic’ whiny burden you have always been?” I flinch at his words. No, this cannot be, this cannot be happening. This is not my Nate, my Nathaniel. I struggle to maintain my composure.
