"Tatum and I are going to story time." Story time was one of the girls' favorite things to do at a local bookstore. Whoever took them was their hero for at least a few hours. "Oh, she would absolutely love that. You sure you don't mind?" "Not at all," Denise shook her head. "I'm already going anyway. One more kid isn't going to make a difference. Besides, together they kind of keep each other out of trouble."

Louis knew his junior very well. The older man finally sighed and smiled. “Did you eat so late that you got sick to your stomach? Shall I order some food here?” Alain finally looked back at Louis. He felt grateful that his senior did not pressure him to tell the story. Honestly, he wasn’t ready to talk right now. In a situation like this, he was grateful because Louis was the first to meet him. His senior was very understanding of his condition even though he didn’t tell him anything. Perhaps it would be a different story if he met Brielle. The girl surely would force him to spill everything. She wasn’t a bad girl, but she couldn’t read the situation sometimes.

CHAPTER 1: DRAGONS It is a little past 8pm and the moon is full and well lit. It is bedtime for seven years old Elizabeth and she is all ready for bed. Teeth flossed, hair brushed and nighties worn. Her sister Historia a seventeen years old red head decides to spice up story time tonight. Instead of reading from the regular bedtime stories, she chooses to tell a story from an old fantasy novel. Historia tokes in her sister in place, as she stands up to dramatize the story with her red eyes wild open. Elizabeth packs her beautiful blond hair in a ponytail as she widens her red ruby eyes as well in suspense.

So, the best thing for me to do is to avoid her. People still say stupid things about her. I am already very tired of hearing all the side derogatory comments about her. it is very sickening. People should just learn to stop all this petty bullying. It is not cool at all. I entered the library and I picked a seat at the far end of the library. I picked a literature textbook. Literature has been giving me issues for a while now. I want to really focus on it today. I sat down and started skimming through the textbook. I honestly do not understand what I am reading but I just continued.

Then I moved away from the window, and turned to look at the books which all looked amusing. I reached out to the bottom of the shelf and removed a book from it. Then I dusted it off, and sneezed as the dust got into my nostrils. These books must have been here for a long time, and that means it’s all about history. Hmm! Things are about to get interesting. “Story of the Rainbow?” I scoffed and bit my lips, then opened the book. I flipped through the pages, awed by the writings and the pictures which were inside.

She smiled and nodded. “Go ahead, Eliana’s daddy.” With trembling hands, Hunter took the storybook from his daughter and followed her to her room. He sat by the bed while Eliana lay down, hugging her doll. “It’s called The Prince Who Came Back to the Castle,” Eliana said. Hunter opened the first page. “Once upon a time… there was a prince who wandered too far from his castle. He forgot who he was, forgot who he loved… But one day, he came back. And found that his home… had always been waiting for him.”

Anna took Connor's arm and said with an aggrieved expression, "Connor, you promised me you'd see the fireworks with me. Tonight's the last night for the fireworks show." Connor glanced at Sylvie, and Anna noticed that, too. "There's nothing to worry about, Connor. Sylvie hired these beggars herself. Why would they hurt her?" she said in dissatisfaction. Connor hesitated briefly before taking Anna's arm and turning to Sylvie, saying, "You can stay in this hut and reflect on your wrongdoing." The moment the door closed, the beggars began salivating as they lunged at Sylvie with perverse expressions. Sylvie closed her eyes.

Juniper nodded her head after hearing Selena’s suggestion. The story was called ‘Me and My Dad’, and it was written in three installments that were split into three books. The plot revolved around a little dinosaur by the name of Rory and his father. In fact, these storybooks were a gift from her colleague who didn’t know that Selena was a single mother. Thus, she had never chosen them to read for Juniper because she was afraid that the child would ask difficult questions, which she might not know how to answer.
