In the Grip of king Roderick

In the Grip of king Roderick

Sunlight filtered through the dense canopy above, casting enchanting dappled patterns on the forest floor. Cynthia couldn't help but admire the sheer grandeur of the trees. Their gnarled roots seemed to reach deep into the earth, drawing sustenance from the very core of the land. Each branch bore the marks of time, with leaves that rustled in the gentle breeze, creating a symphony of whispers that resonated with the wisdom of ages.

The Sage Story of Longwu Continent

The Sage Story of Longwu Continent

Chapter 17. The trip with Verna made Li Wei sober. The more in the middle of the forest, the more various plants grow. It's not just Peach trees. Rows of Fir Trees are also produced in a row, not to be outdone by Peaches. The noisy sounds of animals, some of which are wild animals, echoed in the air. It beats the rustling sound of leaves and treetops blowing in the wind. "We have arrived." Verna said, pointing to the front.

Warming The Cruel Alpha's Bed

Warming The Cruel Alpha's Bed

Celina affirmed. Our path led us to a clearing bathed in the soft glow of moonlight. In the center stood a cluster of ancient trees, their trunks scarred by the tendrils of darkness. The forest's magic was slowly healing them, but the corruption's touch still lingered. "These trees are resilient," Alder observed. "They're fighting to reclaim their purity." I approached one of the trees, placing my hand against its bark. I could feel its life force pulsating beneath my touch, a testament to its unwavering spirit.

Love that Kills

Love that Kills

"Those trees… It's almost summer, and they look like the trees in autumn." Ash chuckled. "This forest is one of the magical power spots. That is why the trees look different here. They often change their colors, even a few times a day. They may also remain green during the winter." "That's amazing," I said in awe, and Ash laughed even louder. "We will spend the next seven hours driving through these woods. You can get some sleep, then wake up, and you'll still have time to admire the trees." "I don't feel sleepy at all," I claimed, only to yawn a few heartbeats later.

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

The air was thick with the sweet scent of wildflowers and the earthy aroma of moss and loam. As we ventured deeper into the forest, locating the waterfall, the trees grew taller and more majestic. Their trunks were thick and gnarled, their branches reaching high into the sky, as if trying to touch the heavens. The leaves rustled gently in the breeze, creating a symphony of sound that was both soothing and invigorating.

The last Leaf on the tree

The last Leaf on the tree

I sat down on my seat, waiting even if I knew I'd had to wait way longer than just some minutes. All of a sudden all I saw was black, I didn't know everything could be over in just seconds, I wouldn't have thought that everything could be over this quick, but one thing I knew was, I couldn't give up, I have to be there for Kehna. I tried recovering strength by breathing in and breathing out but it didn't help. I continued repeating the same sentence "I can't give up" breath in breath out "I can't give up" breath in breath out, I just wanted to rest and close my eyes for some seconds.

On the contrary, the decor was quaint and tasteful, so it felt very elegant. There were different flowers on both sides and they believe towards each other. The carved wooden beams were very intricately done, and there was a very grand look to the place. In the middle of the courtyard was a small pavilion and a man made mountain with water flowing down. This was supposed to be a club, but it really look more like a retirement village in the mountains.

I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

The King’s Possession

The King’s Possession

I ask, even though I already know. Tai shifts, his footprints leaving marks on the ground before us. “Dead matter, leaves and so forth. I could have torn it down, but I like it.” “You like a bunch of dead trees?” I question, watching warily as he drags a finger between the rivets of the trunk of a tree, pulling it back to show me the creamy mix of ash. I’m trusting him, believing that this isn’t going to kill me. For all I know, he could be immune to this, and in five years, I’ll feel the affects of this devastating landscape.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

A cold voice came out of Zephyr Khan's mouth. Suddenly, a huge ancient tree was launched. Its branches formed thousands of branches and surrounded Zephyr Khan like crazy. However, it did not hurt Zephyr Khan and the others. Instead, it rushed toward the surrounding ancient trees. "Rumble!" Under the astonished gazes of the crowd, the ancient trees became slightly stiff. Although the trees quickly recovered, they took advantage of this opportunity to run for dozens of miles.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?
