Winning Back Mrs. Montenegro

Winning Back Mrs. Montenegro

She looked over when I came out and nodded. “You’re on time,” she said. “I didn’t think you would be.” “I told you I would be,” I said. I handed her a cup of coffee. “I got your favorite. With extra milk and sugar.” She took the cup and took a sip. “Thank you. How did you remember?” “I remember everything about you,” I said. I sat down at the table and took a sip of my own coffee. “What are we working on today?” “We need to build a trellis for the beans,” she said. “They’re starting to grow and they need something to climb on. Miguel said he would help me but he had to go to the city for work.”

TANGLED VOW

TANGLED VOW

The bass thumped through the crowded mansion like a second heartbeat, but Elena Voss felt hers stuttering in her throat. Crystal chandeliers cast fractured light across designer dresses and tailored suits, while laughter sliced through the air like shards of glass. This was supposed to be a celebration. Richard Hale’s latest business triumph but for Elena, it felt like walking a tightrope over a pit of wolves.

The Bride's Second Life: A Vengeful Bloom

The Bride's Second Life: A Vengeful Bloom

"Don't worry. I will handle all the wedding arrangements myself. I'll make sure it's a grand affair. Our family will never treat you with anything less than the utmost respect." What else could I say? I simply nodded and went along with it. After all, this was exactly what I wanted. The jubilant atmosphere at the Gillan estate stood in stark contrast to the gloom hanging over the Quirrel family. After taking Emily's so-called traditional remedy, Adrian had experienced a brief period of apparent improvement, but his condition soon deteriorated drastically.

The Alpha's Forbidden Flame

The Alpha's Forbidden Flame

The vines pulsed, reacting to the strain, tightening, loosening, tightening again. “Again,” Lyra gasped. They pulled harder. The vines shuddered, creaked, then… Snap. Lyra’s wrists flew apart, the sudden freedom sending her stumbling forward. She caught herself on her knees, breath shaking. Talia twisted around, eyes wide. “Lyra.” “I’m fine,” Lyra lied, though her arms burned. “Hold still.” Her fingers trembled as she reached for Talia’s bindings. The vines pulsed angrily beneath her touch, tightening around Talia’s wrists as if sensing the threat. Lyra dug her nails in, tearing at the living cords. They resisted, writhing like something alive.

The Witch Luna

The Witch Luna

The entire stretch was lighted by overhead fixtures of golden balloons hanging on low lights that looked like stars in the sky. A trellis above the dining table was adorned by a loosely draped thin white fabric with a few white trumpet vines in full bloom resembling light bulbs peeking through. Just as it symbolizes the connection between earthly and divine powers, the three of us share the same hopes of conveying empathy and share joy to each other, perhaps without us even realizing it.

Night Flower

Night Flower

A small failure of maintenance in an otherwise well-kept compound, the kind of small failure that accumulated in old buildings over time regardless of how much authority lived inside them. I descended from the wall into the shadow corridor and crouched in front of the board and looked at it. I thought about my rule. I thought about the vampires on the ridge. The map they had been building over weeks, patient and systematic, the same stretch of high ground revisited at intervals too regular to be casual. The fixed point the map kept pointing back to. The question someone on their side had decided needed answering badly enough to risk running reconnaissance inside neutral ground, which was a t

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

I pulled and tugged until I had enough to work with, constantly fighting against the resistance it was showing, eager to get back into the weave. With the vine gripped in both hands, I floated towards Jenny’s body. She also had a bunch of vines growing out of her, but only one that attached to me, thin and barely visible as it was. I touched the vine in my hand to the thread between me and Jenny. There was a chance that Jenny’s thread would slice Claire’s in half. It was razor sharp and had cut me before when I’d tried to interfere with it. But that didn’t happen. The two vines, fat and thin, Laurel and Hardy, stuck together.

The Labyrinth of Love

The Labyrinth of Love

After hearing Theodore’s explanation, Joseph remained silent for a while and said, “Okay fine.” The sky was covered with clouds by the time they reached the plum tree. There was a big plum tree in a big field surrounded by different types of flowers. Only that field, which had the plum tree, was full of greenery. Except for that field, all other trees were naked. But the plum tree was full of leaves and flowers. The flowers were maroon-colored. Admiring the tree, Joseph thought that the plum tree was the true highlight of his little trip to the demon realm. “Doesn't it look pretty? My father told me that these maroon flowers represent ambition, passion, and strength,” Theodore said. Joseph j

All of it inputted in forms like vines. Tree Vines. A garden. The garden collection. Each garden piece seductive without being desperate. Seductive elegance. Nice. Very nice. Very impressive, Serena. I was impressed.

Hey guys, thank you much for reading but please there's a problem. I noticed there's always a repeated chapter and I've been trying to fix that. Right now Chapter 121 is repeated, I think? So in other to fix that I uploaded a current chapter to replace that very one.

It’s so refreshing seeing a book that the female lead doesn’t just simply back down but tries to stand her ground. I can’t wait to see how Selene handles everything, especially with Eliot and his annoying mistress
