The Alpha's Pen Pal

The Alpha's Pen Pal

HAVEN POV The waiting room at the hospital was cold. Cold, and white, and clean, and filled with the scents of disinfectant, stale coffee, and anxiety. I sat quietly in place in my chair with my book bag, scanning the room, watching the waiting family members of the other patients in this wing of the hospital. I also watched the nurses as they came and went from the unit. The amount of people in the waiting room dwindled, and the darkening sky outside signaled the approaching end of visiting hours. And, yet again, they had not allowed me to go back to see my dad.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the second book but I’m also thoroughly disappointed that the author has chosen not to continue putting her books in this venue. Unfortunately, I’m unable to afford purchasing from a book store or online seller the next 2 books she’s written.

Allie is a wonderful and talented writer and author, I have so much to say but, very limited space, I love the beautiful and true life wisdom and positive tone, flow and everything this story had to offer. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were more chapters to read.

Broken Bonds: Beyond Destiny

Broken Bonds: Beyond Destiny

Bright The hospital waiting room was full, but to me it was as if everything were silent. The ticking of the clock on the wall was the only thing marking the passage of time, and even then, the hands seemed to move at an unbearably slow pace. I felt trapped in a kind of limbo, a space where nothing changed and all I could do was wait.

F.E.A.R.

Everyone sat…waiting, holding their breath, the air thick with anticipation. And somewhere behind that double door…new life was coming. The waiting room had grown quiet—too quiet, if you asked Cheyenne. Which, unfortunately for everyone, meant she was about to do something about it. She popped a piece of gum in her mouth, stood up like a general surveying a battlefield, and clapped her hands once. Loudly. “Alright, troops. It’s officially been thirty-seven minutes, no screams, no explosions, and no one’s come out here crying. That’s suspicious as hell.”

Worth Waiting For

Worth Waiting For

Everything in her was telling her not to be in a room alone with these two handsy men. Hesitantly, she stepped into the room. She was amazed at the loud sounds that were instantly muted behind the door as Oliver closed it behind him. The room was eerily still. Brooklyn tried to ignore the table, chairs, and mattress in the room and focused on the two men, her arms folded while she tried to look hard and professional. “So what is it you guys want?” Peter walked over to the table and poured himself a glass of whiskey. He tilted the glass to her in a silent offer. She shook her head, so he poured another one and walked over to his cousin, handing him a glass.

I can't open this book. I've already paid for it and now I can't open it to read it again. I noticed that the first one "Worth Fighting For " has this one attached but wants me to pay for the attached chapters and I already did. Sorry but I'm pissed.

Another amazing story in this series! Again, I wish we could’ve gotten a little more at the end on the progression of their relationship, but otherwise I loved this story! So far have read the first two within 24 hours lol about to knock out the 3rd, too. Great job author! 😊

WRONG ROOM

WRONG ROOM

Finally, She straightened her dress, wiped at the corner of her eyes as if she had been deeply wronged, and turned toward the entrance. Marilyn also turned. Naomi and Sia remained firmly beside her. The grand doors opened wider. And as every eye in the ballroom shifted toward the entrance, the truth everyone had been fighting over finally prepared to walk into the room.

CEO's Contract Wife

CEO's Contract Wife

Izzy sat in the waiting room of Chicago Memorial Hospital, her knee bouncing anxiously as she gripped her phone in her lap. The sterile smell of antiseptic clung to the air, and the low hum of medical equipment buzzed faintly in the background. The room was quiet, save for the occasional shuffle of feet or murmured conversation, but inside her head, it was chaos.

Dynamic kiss “love has no limit”

Dynamic kiss “love has no limit”

The fluorescent lights of the hospital’s quiet waiting room hummed with a low, steady drone, casting a pale glow over the rows of plastic chairs and the vending machine in the corner. It was late—past midnight—and the only other sound was the soft ticking of a clock on the wall and the distant rustle of nurses moving through the halls. Taylor sat in one of the chairs, her hands folded in her lap, her eyes fixed on the floor. She’d been waiting for twenty minutes, her heart pounding with a mix of anxiety and hope, unsure if Himy would actually show up.

Craving My Sister’s Hot Husband

Craving My Sister’s Hot Husband

“This is something I need to do alone.” “Okay. I’ll be right here. Text me when you’re done.” I nod. Force myself to open the door. Step out into the cold Boston morning. The waiting room is small. Clean. Generic medical posters on the walls about nutrition and exercise and preventive care. A woman with a toddler sits in the corner. The kid is playing with blocks, completely oblivious to the anxiety radiating from everyone else in the room. I check in at the desk. Fill out paperwork. Try to keep my hands from shaking as I write my name, address, and insurance information.

The Roommate Game

The Roommate Game

"You ignored me when I called you, and now you slap me in the face!" I widened my eyes like I was clueless. "Huh? You called me? I didn’t hear." Then, I deliberately plucked out my wireless earbuds, even though no music was playing. "Maybe I was listening to music." Rachel froze, grinding her teeth. "You did it on purpose." The other two roommates jumped in right away. "Lila, were you deliberately ignoring Rachel?" "Are you still mad? She only left you out because she thought you were busy with Student Office work. You totally twisted her intentions."

counsel added, “if anyone tries to move you into a separate room ‘for privacy,’ you refuse. They don’t get privacy. They get procedure.” I swallowed. “Understood.” The waiting room smelled like disinfectant and air-conditioning—clean, neutral, almost kind. A receptionist looked up and smiled the way people smile when they’re trying to be helpful, not harmful. A few patients sat with their phones out, scrolling. A TV played a daytime segment nobody listened to. Normal. For eight seconds. Then I saw the clipboard.
