"Oh, what a bummer!" She went to proceed to open it and saw dust on the pages. She tried to remove it with her hand to read it. She read aloud, "Be that as it may! For this will take you to your coaster..." she flipped the pages to continue, "The closer you get, the more you will stay. The more you are away, the more it delays." "Do not dismay the coaster!" What does that even mean? then, a glow of light sparkled from the book as she was pulled inside...

I reach the end of the book. 'What a waste this all was.' It read. All pages were filled. I then go back to the start. It was the only page that was blank. 'What a waste this all was.' The words cut me deeply. You weren't a waste. Like magic, the snuffed candle that was cradled in my heart sparked. Hesitantly at first. The flame spluttered. As if asking for permisson from me. I smiled and felt it explode with warmth. I grab the black book I gifted Xavier. My heart accelerated and a swarm of butterflies swirled around in my stomach.

Unlock it. Empty pages. I flip to the next page. Blank. The one after that. Blank. I start flipping faster now. Page after page after page, all clean, untouched, mocking me with their silence. No hidden ink. No symbols. No diagrams. Nothing. Just white paper. My grip tightens on the book until my knuckles ache.

I opened Josy's door and handed over the book to her , I don't know why but while reading it I felt all my problems move aside it was like I was moving back to how I was only with the fact that I was stuck at one place.
