He stood there awkwardly, clearly struggling to find the right words. I spoke first. “You can go now. I don’t want to hear more apologies. During my time here, I’ve found myself again. I’ve rediscovered the dreams I’d abandoned, and you know me well enough to understand. If I’ve made up my mind, nothing you do can change it, especially when there’s a child involved.” This time, I turned away first. I had watched him walk away from me so many times before that this time, I wanted him to feel it.

Sandhya replied. “Guys you all didn’t understood my words at all.” Asha said shaking her head. “Asha! Please do tell us what did we misunderstand?” I asked her confused. “Ok. That day do you remember what I told you guys? In that I used ‘I hated’, ‘I wanted’ and ‘I wished’. Mia's POV People have believed in the legend that wishing upon a shooting star makes the wish come true for a long time. I never believed in such myths, I never believed in any myths at all.
