Novel & Cerita The World As I Found It

She lived in my mirror and only appeared to me whenever I stood in front of it. Mother said she cherished me nonetheless and that was why she was shielding me from the rest of the vain world. With my favourite book, 'Gulliver's Travels' as my companion, I uncovered the truth. The world was filled with odious yahoos that lived a life of evil, vices, falsehood, brutality and every crime that one can and can't think of. So, one day, I did mother a favor, wiping a brute from the face of the earth as their very existence was a malady that the earth ails and suffereth from.

⸻ Someone had been forgotten. Someone important. ⸻ Someone so important that reality itself had spent eternity searching for them without realizing it. ⸻ 🌙 The Heart of the New World The voice came again. ⸻ This time softer. ⸻ Sadder. ⸻ “I waited.” ⸻ The stars dimmed. ⸻ “I thought someone would remember.” ⸻ The newborn world shook violently. ⚡ ⸻ A silver light appeared beyond the horizon. ✨

This is a mission with the lives of many people, mine included, on the line! God, what’s wrong with me today? With those thoughts swirling in my head, my eyes catch a hint of light. I dig through the things in the last drawer I’m looking through, and finally, come across the shining thing. A notebook. It’s warm. It’s vibrating like the breathing of a great animal. Just like the last one. Except this one is also glowing faintly. “Zen!” I whisper yell, waving the book in my hand “I found it!” He’s at my side the next second, “It’s just like the last one.”

“Then the world burns, and not even your strength can save it.” Before I could ask anything more, the light flared again — too bright to bear. It wrapped around me, swallowing me whole. I heard Mara shout my name, Edward curse under his breath — then nothing. When I opened my eyes, the world had changed. I stood in a vast field of ash. The sky was an endless storm of red clouds, the air thick with heat and smoke. Rivers of fire ran through the cracked earth like veins. And standing across from me — not far, not near — was Aaron.

Ivy said, "Wow, the wedding was amazing. I knew it was my wedding, but for some reason, I felt as though it wasn't really happening. It just seemed too good to be true." "Well, the footage is there. You can always watch it when you want," Daniel replied. Ivy nodded, "Yes, I mean, some really high-profile people I never thought I'll ever get to see in my life. Not that I've always wanted to see them, but those were people that in my lifetime I would never have seen. I still can't believe people came from all over the world just for my wedding." "It was our wedding," Daniel said. "I know, yes, our wedding. But it was just like a dream. And you said the whole world was watching it?"

"But I’m not interested anymore.” I gently pulled my hand away from his tight grip, my face calm and my voice cool. However, he would not let go, even pushing the old tiger plushie I had thrown out back into my hands. "Carol, look at this tiger. I found it in the trash and fixed it up. It's like us. We can fix things too!" he said. I listened to his wild voice and kept the sharp words I wanted to say to myself.

I was running in a world so dark; so cold A world which felt like a prison A world voided of meaning and comfort A world that ran parallel to Terra Australis I was running in a world so eerie; so mysterious A world whose floor is nothing but stone filled with water that got deeper with every step A world that will snatch you of calm and reason A world that reflected true silence I was running in a world so dark; so desolate A world that kept secrets A world that covered its true purpose beneath its aquatic sheets

“Until Ka—” The name wouldn’t come. Like something in my throat refused to give it shape. But my heart knew it. It beat to it. > "You’ll find him, my wolf said, gentler now. You always do." I stood at the window again, looking at the endless horizon. The golden world stretched out like eternity — perfect, sterile, dead. And for the first time, I pitied it. A place without night could never know what light meant. “I’ll get out,” I whispered.

Everything else in the movie was just over the top for me. I sit back and open the book. With the book in hand and some music playing in the background I was soon transported into my own world. I don't know why, but as soon as I picked up a book to start reading, the whole world around me can go up in flames and I would not even realize it. This is why my mom banned me from reading at home.
