Chapter 3 Third Person POV Selene woke up with determination etched on her face as the night drew to a close and the first rays of dawn began to peek through the window. She rose from her bed, ready to face the challenges that awaited her, with a deep breath. Her driving force was the search for her parents, which would be her beacon of hope amidst the darkness. With urgency driving every step, she hastily gathered her belongings. She packed essentials into a worn out bag that had seen its fair share of adventures with determined precision in swift movements.

Third Person POV. She writhed and sobbed in pain as she received each penetration. She felt like her world was over, a thought came into mind and she gently remove the criminal's face. Because he was engrossed in his affair, he didn't know the girl has seen his face. The other one saw this action of hers but didn't give her out, but rather urged him to hurry up before they get caught.

"I guess you rushed out without your meds, right? I'm heading out." Jacob collapsed, clawing at his throat. "You… The cameras… They will not let you—" I stopped in the doorway. "That was a lie.
