Lyra didn’t turn immediately. Her eyes were still on A-01, still measuring, and still trying to understand what exactly had changed in the last few seconds.
“Yes,” she said.
“Proceed with controlled escalation.”
The words were simple, but the meaning was not. Lyra finally turned her head. “Define escalation.”
