After a moment, Aiden decided to open up a little more. “You know, we should do this more often. Breakfast outside, talking about nice things...,” he paused, watching Dea’s uncertain expression. “I mean, it might help us. Make things feel less strange.”
Dea glanced at him, considering his words. “Maybe,” she replied hesitantly. “But we also need to remember that this isn’t a normal situation. We’re still figuring things out.”
