This Is The Happiness And Peace Of Mind Committee นิยาย & เรื่องราว

It took the program an hour to run through the message and decode the correct sequence. “Alex, If you receive this email, then I’ve missed my twelve-hour deadline and chances are that I’m dead. My wife would have received the first message and by now my family will also know. Over the past six months I’ve compiled a list of the minds I’ve read at various Council Meetings. These range from misconduct within their own Council’s, personal lives and it includes members of the World Council in Switzerland. There will be another council meeting in October, most probably held at the same venue.

I rolled my eyes at him and stood beside Annabel. “Good morning to you all,” Annabel said. “I’m sorry to have kept you guys waiting. As you can see I’m here with a new person who is a new member of this committee. Please help me welcome Jessica Underwood.” There was a round of applause around the room and smiled at them.

she replied. Meeting again like this was unexpected. He noticed the girl in her arms and asked, "Who is this?" Kimberly dotingly looked down at Grace. "My daughter." Daniel nodded, understanding. Kimberly handed the sleeping girl to Gary. "I'll be right back." She and Daniel walked down a path outside. Time had washed away everything: love and even hate. Only calm was left in her heart. She noticed his diagnosis report, which clearly stated severe depression. He sensed her gaze and quickly hid it.

Mace and I did the same. "I'm Hazel, the current president of the student body in CBA. For this orientation, I just want to welcome you as the new Junior Executives of our faculty. Aside from the mission, vision and core values of the university, we also have our own in the handbook you are holding. It also contains the rules and regulations not only of the school but also our faculty. After this orientation, you can go to your respective blocks and we want you to elect officers per block since there will be a new student body next week. That's all and enjoy your journey as part of the CBA Family!"

The details do not describe nine frightened people hiding separately in basements and hoping history forgets their names. They describe structure. Power. Redundancy. Intent. The committee has a place. It has resources. It has, God help everyone, administration. The world burns down and the committee keeps its filing system. “Names,” Maya says. “I have three. Give me whatever you can.” A pause. The considering kind, not the evasive kind. Adeyemi. According to LUS, the name appears on the resource lines. Infrastructure. Continuity logistics. The reason the lights are still on wherever the committee is sitting.

Screens around the square flickered to life, displaying excerpts from the Stabilization Committee proposal. “You are being told that fear requires efficiency,” Aria said. “That chaos demands control. That your voices are valuable only when they agree.” A murmur rose. “The committee promises safety,” she continued. “But safety without participation is obedience. And obedience has never protected this city for long.” A man shouted from the crowd. “People are getting hurt.” “Yes,” Aria said immediately. “They are.” Her willingness to agree startled them. “And that pain is real,” she said. “But do not let anyone convince you that pain means failure.”

Five years after Alaska, the Council convenes to discuss my proposal for the Consciousness Trauma Recovery Program. I stand in the center of the chamber—the same place I stood when they questioned whether I was compromised, whether I should remain an Elder. Now I'm proposing the most ambitious consciousness magic initiative in our society's history.

“Brainless talk everywhere. And at the end of the day, zero meaning, zero solutions. I couldn’t deal with that, that’s while I handed it over to you.” “Oh.” Realization smack me in the face. “Well, you are a woman, you can understand their ways. And you are the Luna, so that comes with it.” “Okay.” “So no reports for me? Zero solutions?” I had planned on holding the details till it is resolved. But… “I plan on creating a committee. A Delivery committee. I’ll tell you more about it when it is concluded.” “Now, that makes sense.” He nods. Pride swells in my chest.

] [Don't think dirty! [I should've called in sick today.] I pressed my lips together hard to keep from smiling. Mercer noticed immediately. "They're trying." "I appreciate the effort." One detective looked physically exhausted from attempting to empty his mind completely. Which was impossible, obviously. Humans thought constantly. Their brains never shut up. Most people just hated realizing someone else could hear it. Mercer stopped near the cluster of desks at the center of the room and raised his voice just enough to cut through the chaos. "Everyone, this is Detective Tiffany Wren. Transfer from Riverton."

It took all his strength not to touch her or pull her towards him. “Why don’t we all sit and commence our meeting?” Rowan Nelson led the way to a cozy spot next to the window, where they all sat comfortably. It was a round table with Ella in between Rowan and Aubrey and Timothy sitting next to Rowan with him. Except for the questions running through him mentally, the meeting discussion between them was crisp and to the point. Dan and Timothy explained to them their entire plan and future outlook for their project. They explained to them the process of their expansion and the benefits of it.
