And neither am I.” He promised. “My name is Thomas, and I’d like to help you – if you’ll let me.” “We don’ need help.” Riley declared stubbornly. “No?” Thomas asked, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, “when was the last time you ate or had water, when’s the last time you had a bath or slept inside?”

Serena begged Adrian hesitated at first but he finally let go of Thomas as he was about to pass out, Thomas fell to the ground gasping for air, “Lucian get this piece of trash out of my sight or I will kill him, he should be grateful that my mate can be quite forgiving” Suddenly a mage appeared beside Thomas and he grabbed him by the arm but before they both disappeared Thomas yelled something, “this is over, I will kill you all” Thomas said before he disappeared.

He doesn't want to be on bad terms with Daven. They look the same, and even their personalities were quite similar but the things Daven experienced make him different from Thomas. He's arrogant, merciless, and a monster because he was grown among the worst of their kind. Thomas knew he was alive now and happy with his wife because of his brother; he was forever indebted to him.

She was rough, I guess from all the fighting. Thomas is like a bad boy from a YA book, he looks and acts like one, but he doesn't talk like one or treat everyone like they're less than him, he's not arrogant or mean to everyone. He just looks like the guy you don't want to run into, but if you do you'll know he's a godsend...or at least he is to me.

William's POV I caught up with Thomas in the tavern. He was a tall, muscular male wolf who had served as my beta for many years. I needed his help and I knew he was always up for an adventure. "Thomas, I need your help with something," I said, taking a seat at his table. “Yes sir, anything.” The enthusiasm in his tone never got old.

" Rolling my eyes, I don’t bother to respond to Thomas’ words. One day he too would find love, and maybe then his frozen heart would be cured. "I’m here now, so why don’t we go ahead and get moving?" "Whatever you command, alpha," Ace quipped, giving a salute. "We are at your beck and call." "Speak for yourself," Thomas hissed. "I don’t take any commands from anyone except myself." "Then are you planning on just staying here?" I asked, raising a brow. "And possibly miss out on all the fun that could be had?" "Fun?" Thomas repeated, giving me a ‘are you serious look?' "Are you saying hunting down creepy monsters that are dying to eat our flesh is fun?"

Thomas himself was built like a tank, with three sons who looked like they could bench-press small cars. “So you're Christian's new female.” Thomas looked me up and down. “Here to tell me I'm wrong about my territory?” “I'm here to listen to your case.” For the next hour, Thomas shouted. Literally shouted. About his grandfather's markers, his family's maintenance of the hunting trails, and his contributions to the pack. His wife, Linda, sat in the corner, wringing her hands, looking like she'd aged ten years from stress. Thomas's youngest son, Michael, kept glancing at his phone, his expression miserable.

“Of course they did. They’re insane.” He laughed and nodded, leaning into my shoulder. “I miss Drew already. His stay was too short.” I kissed his hair. “Drew’s… unique. The fact that Thomas fell for him makes him even more special.” Adrian’s eyes shot open, then slowly drifted closed again. “Wait. Thomas never falls for anyone?” I thought about it. I’d never seen Thomas in a real relationship. Plenty of hookups, sure, but nothing lasting. “Nope. He’s slept his way through half of New York, but I’ve never seen him actually in love. Until now.”

Completely unbothered. Then Thomas stared after them. Then: "I hate politicians." Honestly? Fair. Very fair. Reasonable honestly. Then the city lights shimmered beneath the night sky. The celebration continued. The future waited. And somewhere deep inside— Thomas had a strange feeling. The next adventure was already approaching. And this time— it wouldn't involve saving the world. It would involve learning how to live in it.

A person stepped from the shadows, wrapped in black. Advisor Thomas. But his eyes were wrong—pupils slit like a serpent’s. He smiled, blood dripping from his lips. “Did you think I’d let you steal my prize?”
