The Bride from Auction

The Bride from Auction

she added, she just whispered it to Liam but what she thought couldn't be heard, everyone heard because the whole area covered all the voices inside. "Can we see?" Javier asked Thomas. Thomas nodded and took them to the end of this area. The underground is spacious and there aren't too many things inside so they wonder why Thomas' hide-out is so big. "I've prepared everything you want to take," said Thomas and opened the cloth covering on the wide table. Various weapons such as shotguns, samurai, different types of knives, handguns and many others appeared in all of them. Javier smiled when he saw everyone there. He turned to Thomas.

In Bed With My Billionaire Boss

In Bed With My Billionaire Boss

By the time we make it all the way around the room he’s definitely in his element and feeling a lot more confident. And he’s making Emma smile and laugh along the way. And keeping her from looking at the price tags. “Now, this is the best that we have. It’s made with solid wood, a teak exterior with a solid frame under it so it’s beautiful and still sturdy. There are two dressers to go with it like you would find in an adult set, a tall one here and the lower one that can be used also as a changing table. Or there’s a separate changing table here.” He points out all of the features and I can tell Emma is impressed.

The Alpha’s Mistake: Lila’s Rise from Rejection

The Alpha’s Mistake: Lila’s Rise from Rejection

I gave it another ten seconds. Long enough for the sound of their conversation to shift; papers moving, boots scraping back, chairs dragged slightly from the table. Long enough for Thomas to finish whatever else he had to say with that curious edge in his voice. Then I lifted my hand, knocked twice, and walked in like I hadn’t just heard him admire a militant death cult. Tyler looked up first. He didn’t speak. Thomas folded a map in half and slid it off to the side with a little too much care, like it wasn’t just freshly unrolled. His mouth twitched in something that could’ve been a smile.

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

Fifteen is more than I had yesterday. Thomas brings them up in two trips, each canvas wrapped in moving blankets and secured with care that tells me my father hired someone who knew what they were doing. I stand in the middle of the living room while Alexander moves furniture without being asked, clearing the wall beside the floor-to-ceiling windows, making space. We unwrap them together.

The Orphan Luna's Rejection

The Orphan Luna's Rejection

Hopefully a few minutes of airing out the room and sitting out here will be enough to calm my body and get rid of the evidence of Arthur’s effect on me. A few minutes later I hear the click of the door opening then being softly closed and locked, then Thomas appears at the balcony doors with his jacket draped over his arm. His sleeves are turned up to just below his elbows and his top few buttons undone, revealing the taut toned skin of his chest and the curved tips of the tattoo I’ve seen in training. Goddess damn it. “Thomas, you didn’t need to do that. I ate earlier.” I cross my legs tightly hoping it’ll somehow hide my scent, and look at the brown paper bag he placed on the bistro table

and wait for their separation. "Are you busy Thomas? I won't be long." Thomas stopped what he had been doing. Standing up straight, sweat visible... she could not help but admire how hardworking he was. He never complained even when overworked, he was always cheerful. The kind of attitude anyone should have towards life. "Not at all." Thomas said out of breath after having spent nearly an hour packing stack of hay and packing them accordingly. "I—" "Is that for me?" Thomas questioned at the cake. It had no frosting but it still looked yum and he was hungry he'd take anything.

Love the story. Do not change your story because readers might feel offended. Tell the tale as it is. Slavery is a fact and there was rape a daily struggle. But I do believe there was love as well. As I’m a proud mix race women. Born in a Dutch colony, these are the untold stories. Well told!!!

I defined give this book 100...️. Out of all the interesting books (and some not so interesting), this one takes the cake. A few grammatical errors, but at least you understand the actual story nonetheless. I fully recommend it for strong hearted readers. Different plot from the clichés in this app.

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

But today was looking like a waste. Since coming back, Nicoli had taken to drawing on the floor. Thomas had seen him draw before, but he was doing so more frequently. Nicoli would sit and draw and do nothing else for hours. All with the sole companion of a little stuffed bear, a toy that Nicoli seemed very protective of and wouldn’t let him touch. Thomas thought it was odd, but not enough to talk about. “Your Highness,” Thomas started. “Shall we walk the maze today?”

A Christmas Melody

A Christmas Melody

“You like that train?” Melody asked, pulling her eyes away from Reid’s retreating form and focusing instead on the little boy looking longingly at the toy sticking up from the top of the cardboard box. “Yes,” Michael nodded. “Could I take it out?” Even though she knew the train was both very old and worth quite a bit of money, Melody didn’t hesitate to pull it out of the box. Made of tin and consisting of an engine, two cars, and a caboose, the black lacquer was a bit worn and one of the buckles that held two of the cars together stuck a bit, but other than that, it was in good shape.

SOLD TO THE CEO

SOLD TO THE CEO

I stop behind him and crane my neck to look over his shoulder at the spreadsheet he's holding. “This thing is too expensive,” I say and Thomas practically jumps in place. — Holy shit, Cecilia — he complains and closes the folder with the papers. - What do you want? I pull up the chair next to him and peek at the documents, but Thomas practically hides everything. "Can I have a look at that one over there?" - I ask and point to what was in his hand. Thomas crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow. - For what? Do you want to start training to steal from me like daddy? he asks dryly.

Second chance at happiness

Second chance at happiness

Tony pointed to door in fear “Your duchess…cart…” Thomas left the ledger and hurried out but slowed his steps as he saw the cart outside. He recognized this as the one that Mira came in. “Dearest, there are torturing me.” Almera pouted as soon as she saw Thomas. “Torture my Beloved??” Thomas pursed his lips that were curled up as he pretended to be angry “Who dares?” “Hop in….” Almera moved to the side making space for him next to her “Let’s show them.”
