He says gazing at me intensely. "What do you mean? Aren't you listening to me?" I ask him. "Trust me Morgana. Once you get your wolf, I'm the only one you'll be able to think about. This human boyfriend of yours won't even matter." He says firmly. "His name is Charles. Besides, we can always break the mate bond right?" I state "OUT OF THE QUESTION!" He says with a growl, his voice sounding authoritative and a shiver runs down my spine.

His eyes were a mixture of brown and green and always speculative when they looked at her. Did he find her wanting or something? Sigurd, her father’s blood brother, was a tall man with red hair turning silvery in places. She caught herself staring at the small, forked beard braids and avoided his pale green eyes after that. His wife, Ruth, was much smaller than he and flanked by their twin boys, Snorri and Egil. Being Beyla, she had to ask, in Norse: “Do you have Vercian middle names? Mine is Amber.”

As Eleanor looked around the house, she once more couldn’t help but marvel at the beauty of the place. “Are they all this huge…” she muttered to herself as her eyes met with some of the guards. They all had this muscular frame and bulky bodies. She was yet to meet one with a smaller body frame. She wondered if they all got it from what they fed or was it from their rigorous trainings. From the little Catherine had told her, she could tell the arrogant rude man that claimed to be her mate is the Alpha and their leader. “Arthur…that’s his name…” she muttered silently to herself. His name alone made her hate him. The thought of home spurred inside of her and she wondered what uncle Bob and her

Blaming her wolf for choosing someone else?”/ /“You’ve thought about it before,”/ he sniffs. Kin grunts and gets to his feet, his six tails bristling. /“Both of you have it wrong; you’re having the same reaction to that gem around her neck as your father had. Of all the beauty, hers was the most divine. Her purple eyes gleamed with her grey armor as she rose from the ashes, did her purple gaze shine with her tears or her enemy’s blood? They were afraid to call her by her name……. Athena. I am Athena Raven Lark, and this is my Story.

Random guy… “The person that now has to go home and take a cold shower!” Capris face turned red from embarrassment, it appears to be the guy she was backed up against grinding on his man parts.

I tell the wolf, and I see its eyes rest on me. “I doubt you know about Odin, Thor, and all the other gods. The other countries we went to never did.” I tell them. “But anyway, Odin is the king in Valhalla the home of the gods, Thor is the thunder God, and then there are gods like Baldur, Frigg, Heimdall, Tyr, and Idun. That is just some of them. And, of course, there is Freya, whom I have been named after.” I tell them, and it looks like they are listening.

The wolf seemed to smile as he approached me. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am called Thorr," A gentle voice drifted into my head. "I am the chief of the southern forest tribe." "Alpha Kincaid has known you are gone," Cedric said to me. "The other guard just mindlinked me now. He told me to be careful. The alpha looked quite angry."

Nina froze. Her brain seemed to stall for a moment. “Wha- what?” Nina asked in shock. “Don’t you dare lie to me!” Nina harshly gripped her head and forced her to look up at her. Nina was glaring into her eyes at this point. “I…am not lying. It is the truth. My Alpha’s name is Thorin. Alpha Thorin.” Rayne groaned at the pain. Nina’s nails were digging into her head.

The Veilborn magic had no mercy. It didn't care about allies or enemies. It cared only about survival. The clearing twisted. The air grew thicker. Reality itself frayed at the seams. I stumbled forward, trying to rein it back in—trying to remember who I was. **Thorold.** Son of Ryker and Zara. Alpha Heir of Stormfang. *Not* a weapon. *Not* a monster.
