Serena's POV Oh, bless me, moon goddess. I have never felt so high and elevated in my life before. Everywhere feels so light-weighted. It feels as though the clouds have surrounded me. In fact. I feel like I am elevating. I can't feel the ground on my feet anymore. I am jumping crazily and screaming my lungs out, allowing the beat of the music to get deep into my senses, moving my body to its own volition without control.

I wanted to say that to them, but my tongue was glued to the roof of my mouth. And I couldn't open my eyes, because it felt like there was a rock resting on them.

It just never felt like it would happen. But here I am, running. And it feels so unreal. Nothing does now. I can’t even feel the ground under my feet as I move. Everything seems to slow down, or I move even faster. I am only vaguely aware of the sound. It’s my heart. It hits against my chest like a drum and by the time I am back inside, a slight wave of dizziness is swimming over me. But I can’t stop. I won’t stop. I am driven like a moth to a flame. It is like I am floating through the halls. And my body feels weightless as I come to my door.

Stacey When I begin to wake, everything feels strange—like I’m floating between a dream and reality. My body is heavy, weighted down by exhaustion, and there’s a dull, throbbing ache pulsing through me. My head feels foggy, and for a moment, I can’t remember where I am.

The shift became easier the more I did it. This time even back in human form, I still felt light, lighter even, like there had been a weight on me all my life. It was almost like I was floating. I felt myself drifting, the worries of the world fading away. I was humming. I didn't even realize it at first. It just… started. Not a tune, not a song. Just a series of notes, rising and falling, and I was somehow matching them perfectly. I tried to stop, to figure out what was happening, but I couldn't. My mouth felt heavy, like it was filled with sand. A voice, calm and soothing, echoed in my mind. "It's alright," it said. "It's supposed to be like this."

JADE I felt like I was in a rocket ship and I wasn’t wearing seatbelt. Or maybe a super fast car. I didn’t know how to explain it but my head felt light and like I was floating. I could hear voices around me but not what they were saying. And I’m lying on my back and the next, I feel like I’m falling from a skyscraper. I didn’t like any of this at all. Not to mention, the nausea. It was horrible. Probably the worst of everything else that was going on.
