MILA POV I was in total shock of course I kind of hated Soledae and her future husband and I wanted to make them pay, but killing her wasn't part of the plan. I am not a fucking murderer and I will never be one. "You didn't say anything about killing Soledae" I mutter quietly and Maxima narrows her eyes at me dangerously. A few minutes after they were all gone, a nurse walked in and covered me with white cloth. She walked out right after that, but then someone entered almost immediately. I knew it wasn't the nurse because the footsteps were heavy. The figure walked up and stood right next to my bed. He was close. Too close. And then the deep, male voice said. "You deserve this. Once you are gone... immortality will be mine."

I knew Lindsay had a hold on me, but I never thought it was this much, to where she had crept fear of loneliness into my heart. “I never thought I would see this day,” Lazarus murmured, showing his excitement. If I had known this was how my marriage to her would have ended, I should never have started it. The ink in my pen pressed deep on the vacant line. I was about to seal the end of a chapter I never thought that I would close. A knock on the door had been my first distraction, raising my head up to see Stanley walk in. “Apologies, sir, you have a phone call from Skyway Airlines.” Stanley spoke with urgency.

She asked "Death took it with him. He has been doing his duties and yours together. Just so that you could make your second life worth it." Fate leaned towards her and flipped the last page of writings "Was it worth it?" She smirked. Vivian looked at it with surprise. Her eyes were about to pop out.
