The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule
“If you end me, death stays broken. I’m the only one who can fix negotiable death because I’m the one who voted for it. Kill me and the chaos continues.”
Original Death pauses.
“Explain,” it demands.
“The Council voted to make death negotiable,” I say desperately, buying time. “But implementation was rushed, no structure established. If you end me without fixing the system first, death remains flexible chaos. You need me alive to help restructure it properly.”
“I need nothing,” Original Death replies. “I simply am. Death existed before structure, before negotiation, before Council. I return it to that pure state by ending all who complicated it.”
