she looked down, her cheeks flushed and she began wringing her hands.
”Those were actually other fairies,” her voice trailed off, “just very small fairies.”
The others left their spots on the sofas and gathered around her. Aquina and Katalea both rubbed her arms to soothe.
Embarrassed at all the attention she was receiving she stood, paced a bit, then turned to her friends.
She started again, “The lights you saw were fairies. They are small, some smaller than pixies if I am being honest.”
“Why is this a big deal?” Katalea asked, confused, “We have seen you at that size. Isn’t it a gift to be able to pop to that size? It sure has saved all of us on this quest a few times.”
