To Bleed A Crystal Bloom Novels & Stories

It was boring directly into the Marianna Root a translucent, crystalline structure that looked like the roots of a mountain made of frozen lightning. The Root was "Bleeding" a brilliant, violet plasma into the dark water. The Thorne remnants weren't just drilling; they were causing a Resonant Hemorrhage. "If that crystal shatters," Thomas warned, "the thermal feedback will flash-boil the trench. We have to shut down the drill from the inside."

I stared at the ceiling, "I can talk to him for hours about literally nothing and not get bored. His laugh that he doesn't show a lot, it's deep and beautiful and his eyes light up when he's genuinely laughing. He calls me Bloom like it's my real name and it makes me feel special to him because he's the only one who can call me that otherwise it won't feel right. Every time he stands so close to me and I just feel like I'm going to melt. He cares about me so much, he'll hardly let me drive alone and will give me a ride even if I have my car. He always makes sure I get home safe. When he gets bored while I'm trying to tutor him and starts throwing random things like erasers or pillows or chip

I started pulling on it, but the dang thing wouldn’t budge. "Ow!" I yelped and snatched my hand back as the edge of the metal hexagon shape holding the crystal cut me. I stuck my hand in my mouth, sucking up my blood and feeling like a weirdo the entire time I did it, but I knew it was the only way to stop the bleeding quickly and not leave a bloody trail. A bloody trail like the one I just left on the crystal. When the metal thing cut me, a drop of my blood splashed on the crystal. Strangely, my blood was absorbed into the oval shape instead of just smearing it. I watched in bemusement as the crystal glowed oddly before returning to its colorless state.

His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, physically restraining himself from touching me. "I have run the Apex Bloom for seven years, Lolita," Franco began. His voice was a low, gravelly vibration that sent a familiar, heavy heat curling through my stomach. "It was designed with a singular, unbreakable architecture. A crucible. You throw the elite into the dark, and you let the pressure crush them until only one diamond remains. Every single iteration before this ended the same way: one victor, and a trail of liquidated corpses." He took a step closer. The space between us evaporated. The scent of sandalwood and something distinctly, electrically masculine wrapped around me.

Reta went to the door and stood in front of it. I stood at a corner watching Crystal from a distance as she carefully prepared the poison. She brought a small bowl, and poured in freshwater. She brought a purple liquid in a small bottle from her pocket. She gently poured half of it into the bowl. The color of the water instantly changed to purple, exuding purple smoke from it. “Steph!” Crystal called me out in her stern voice. “Yes?” I walked closer to her. “I need you to fetch me an orange hibiscus flower.”

After thinking about it, she nodded and said, “I’ll have to try. If I can’t do it, I’ll abort.” “Mhm.” The Medical Saint nodded. “The Sanguine Bloom is easy to identify. Our ancient records state that it’s a cyan flower with nine leaves…” The Medical Saint gave Thea a detailed explanation of the Sanguine Bloom. He had never seen a Sanguine Bloom before but had read about it in Medical Valley’s records. That was how he learned about the flower's existence at the bottom of the Frosty Swamp in their valley. “Alright.”

Even as Madfist looked on, he took out the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom that glimmered with an eerier red hue. After some hesitation, he peeled off one the five petals and closed his eyes as he refined the healing essence within with pure vigor. Soon, a thumb-sized drop of crimson appeared at the center of his palm, and after some hesitation, he swallowed the extract. There was a bang as the essence of the Bloodcrane Spiritbloom struck Frank's meridian nexus, and their Audi was sent swerving, almost hitting the guard rail. Madfist could see in turn that Frank's cheeks were flushed, and he was sweating all over his brow.

Marina positioned herself with the stethoscope. "Go." The solution hit the crystals around the heart first. The reaction was immediate—white foam bubbling up, hissing like water on hot metal. Then the foam turned pink as blood mixed in. The smell that came off it made my eyes water. "Keep going," Marina said. "It's working." I poured steadily, moving along the crystallized areas. The bench started vibrating under the bull as the reaction intensified. Derek and another guard had to hold it steady.

“We believe it will help you.” I gestured for him to continue. The scientist stepped forward, retrieving a glass tube containing a dark red liquid. Inside, a faintly glowing fragment of crystal shimmered. “This is the source of their power,” the scientist explained. “Blood crystal. It enhances their physical abilities and regenerative abilities to almost inhuman levels. These crystals are formed from the blood of Lunas, fused with ancient magic.” His words silenced everyone. Pollux eventually broke the quiet. “So, how do we destroy them? Can the crystals be shattered?”

I nod in agreement before he leaves to retrieve the crystal. The blue crystal was discovered to possess healing qualities, it can also be used for agricultural needs. The blue crystal speeds up the growth of any living thing. The affected area is very small but potent. If used against broken bones, the bones reattach and grow strong within minutes. Skin can be sealed and grown back. Burns are healed after several sessions and others have reported with the advanced healing of some Hunters that fingers and other smaller limbs can be grown back.
