To Bleed A Crystal Bloom Novels & Stories

The sight before us made my breath lock in my throat. The fifty-foot golden quartz crystal at the center of the cavern, the ancient heartstone that held Blackthorn Valley together, was encased in a thick, pulsating web of black frost. Thick, unnatural tendrils rooted deep in the stone floor were pumping a murky, pale fluid directly into the crystal's core, turning its radiant golden light into a dim, malignant purple.

"Enough, Halen. Even if I had another flower, I’d give it to Ella. Her pain is because of you, and making her comfortable is more important than anything else." He hung up. I sank to the floor, clutching my phone. He didn't believe me. I forced myself up and ran back to the medical center. If I didn't have the flower, I had to find another way. I could use my blood. Although a relative's blood cannot directly cure the toxin, it can temporarily suppress the Rogue venom. As long as I can hold on until dawn when the apothecary opens, I will be able to buy Silvermoon Flower.

"I’m calling the Gambino family’s Don right now! Let him see your true colors—pretending to talk about business while trying to seduce someone else's husband! You're disgusting!" "I'm calling him now. I'm going to see him now and have him kill you!"

A white rose lay on the floor dripping with blood. A small, shiny blade lay beside it. A beautiful object in such a terrible and painful condition. The blood stain on it did not hide it's immaculate and beautiful nature. She puffed smoke in the air and took a sip of the liquor beside her, as she glared at the bleeding rose with sad and anguish filled eyes, it told a lot about her and her agony. She was as beautiful as the rose in front of her.

she demanded as she entered, not even stopping to catch her breath. Kristen didn’t waste time with pleasantries. She gestured to the foul-smelling concoction on the counter. “This,” she said grimly. “This is what happened when I added Raelynn’s blood to the Petal Bloom extract.” Brianca stepped closer, wrinkling her nose in disgust. “What… what is that stench?” “The mixture went completely wrong. It formed this… sludge,” Kristen explained, frustration thick in her voice. “But that’s not even the worst part. Look at the blood analysis.” She handed Brianca the tablet, her fingers trembling.

My breath caught in my chest as I looked at the crystal. When Orion and I had been here before, it had just been a black crystal with the smoke I had seen when I had the premonition in Sarah’s home. Now it looked almost demonic. A deep red, the color of freshly spilled blood, was seeping from the inside of the crystal. “No, no, it didn’t.” I barely managed to get out. “It’s been tainted.” Pru slowly circled the crystal. “How is that possible?” I watched as the smoke inside the crystal swirled around so lazily it was like a slug or something.

She instructed and then began the chant. I concentrated on her sweet blood. It was easy to pull it forward she was the only wolf's blood I’ve had in a few centuries. I used the need to burn my throat to coax her to me. The altar began to shine a deep red. Getting my hopes up, I tried to draw her to me. Natalia’s chanting grew louder and more forceful. The light swirled like a tornado while the lights grew in intensity. It abruptly stopped causing dots to cloud my vision. I blink them away trying to see the alter again. I finally get my vision back and the altar was empty. Again!

he asked, pointing his finger towards it. Hannah investigated and found three crystal nuclei, each emitting a different color—purple, blue, and green. Liam cautiously picked them up after Hannah washed them with her water. Hannah, using her water ability, cleansed the crystal nuclei. The colors became more vibrant, revealing their unique qualities.

"What does it do for the ill pack members? I was reluctant, unsure what to say to her, my instincts warning me not to believe her. But her face was truthful, nearly, and I found myself talking. "The Silverbloom flower cures," I told her, my voice as firm as I could make it. "It cleanses the blood, removes them from the poisons that are killing them, and makes their wolves healthy."

Settling down on one of the chairs nearby, Rona began, "Prince Adrian and his men are well-trained, and their strength is far above us. They can help us capture that monster, Alpha Xian..." Scarlett shot him a displeased look. Rona smiled and then added, "There's another thing that you don't know, and I haven't told him either." "What?" Scarlett asked. "As you know the Red crust bloomer flower blooms on the full moon day," Rona paused as Scarlett frowned. "I know that you told me this before," Rona nodded and moved his chair closer. He looked around suspiciously before lowering his voice to continue, "That flower blooms, but its medicinal value increases only when it comes in contact with th
