I Can See Our Love's Expiry Date
I stared back into his eyes and said slowly and clearly, "I've already bought a ticket for the day after tomorrow. I'm leaving Riverton."
Levi looked like he'd just been struck by lightning.
"Where are you going?"
He immediately tried to sit up again, tugging on the IV drip on his hand and causing the blood to flow backward. However, he didn't seem to feel the pain at all.
"You're leaving? You're leaving me?"
"Yes," I said, nodding calmly. "Tomorrow is the last day of the cooling-off period. I'll be waiting for you at the courthouse at 9:00 am sharp. Once the divorce is finalized, we'll both go our separate ways."
