At last, the doctors granted Tony permission to visit Steve, who lay unconscious and vulnerable, still teetering on the precipice of danger. Stepping into the room where Steve was confined, Tony's heart sank at the sight before him. Steve's countenance bore the unmistakable marks of suffering, with his head swathed in bandages and a cast enveloping his right leg. His face, bruised and swollen, evoked a profound sense of sadness and anger within Tony. He sighed heavily and settled into a chair beside Steve's bed, struggling to contain his emotions.
